Disregard, Conley canceled the visit

Not sure what you are basing that 90% on, but a quick Google search says Armwood plays every week until Nov 2nd. I imagine they will be in the state playoffs, which would start some time after that. With his dad saying the visit coincided with Leon's "bye week" my assumption is their playoffs start the following week. So that is probably the only weekend during the Michigan season where he'd be visiting the full weekend, unless they lose in the playoffs and could've done the same for Iowa.

I wasn't sure what their schedule was, sorry I don't pay attention to HS football schedules. Figured it was late in the season for Michigan, it would be near the end of his season.

I am not sure why so many are struggling with LM III having a serious interest in UM. At least he is not moving his recruitment from a top-3 to top-10, top-10 to top-5, back to top-10, etc., like some of our recruits.

Yeah he has serious interest, but he wanted to commit to USC this past summer, removed Michigan from his top 3, and is now being heavily recruited by the home state school, FSU.

I agree. I think the interest is legitimate as well but we're clearly behind at least FSU at this point. I'm not getting overly optimistic on this kid until I see how the OV plays out.

The thing that keeps my expectations low for McQuay is the weathe factor. He said early on he didn't want to go somewhere cold, so the November chill in Ann Arbor is going to be a tough thing to overcome compared to Tallahassee and SoCal.

Hell, that's one of the reasons Tee Shepard bailed on Notre Dame.

I don't know why some posters(you) have such a problem with the way Treadwell is handling his recruitment. He should do what he needs to do to make the right decision for himself.

I don't have a problem with his recruitment, but he isn't coming to Michigan at this point. Believe we have a chance if you want, but I've seen enough recruitments plays out over my life to realize Treads is headed elsewhere.

    McQuay isn't coming here either.

It seems like he had narrowed it down, but keeps allowing other coaching staffs to make relationships and preventing himself from focusing on the schools that fit him best. I don't think he'll end up at Michigan unless he visits a couple more times before he decides.

Agree, I'm about 95% positive that Treadwell isn't coming to Michigan. Seen this story before

I tend to agree with you, but I hold hope. We have the same twenty or so percent we are lead to believe every other time.

confused Tee didn't bail on ND. Tee wants to come back, unfortunately for him the staff has moved on..

I'm not sure what you call leaving school and the team abruptly to go home to California, but that seems like bailing to me. Tee bailing and then regretting his decision and wanting to return aren't mutually exclusive.

Tee didn't leave because he wanted too. There was a problem with his transcripts that didn't get cleared so he had to go home. Tee wants to come back in this class, but it appears the coaching staff has moved on.

  • A problem as in admissions people screwing up or his grades not being up to par?
