Success breds success. Could a top 5 recruiting class this year impact a prospect in 2014 or 2015. Maybe. Michigan already has it going recruitingwise, but a higher final ranking is better than a lower one.

Hell, remember back when the first ESPN rankings came out? All the recruits were saying that they were loving the fact that their names were plastered all over ESPN, and they were being touted, on national TV, as "the best class in the country." Recruits love that.
I have no doubt that Morris, Dawson, Bosch, Thomas, and a couple of the other highly-ranked recruits who committed early used that in recruiting other players. A handful of the other later recruits mentioned Morris telling them to come to Michigan to "make the best class in the country even better." With this trend towards kids recruiting each other, giving them a recruiting weapon like being the top class in the country is invaluable.

Quick bump/update: Rivals' final Rivals 100 keeps Derrick Green as the #1 RB in the country and moves him up to #8 overall. As a result, the final 247 composite rankings now have him as a 5*, #26 overall

I think Green lands in Auburn. His mom seemed to like Auburn the best and as we know with Treadwell, mommy's usually have a good say in things. I hope I'm wrong and maybe it's just me being used to seeing us finish second the past few years.
