Bleacher report had an article on Green, and they compared him to NFL RB Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears. Do you think this is a good comparison?

That's a terrible comparison, Forte has close to 4 inches on Green and Green is your prototypical between the tackles RB, while Forte is that RB who makes his living going outside and catching passes out of the backfield.

Not great.
They're both very good catching the ball out of the backfield, but Green is more physical and tough to bring down. more between the tackles than Forte

The only truly worse comparison I can think of is Barry Sanders, frankly.

Definitely don't see Forte when I was watching Green. He's not physically similar and he doesn't have the same running style. Jonathan Stewart is a good comparison, but I think Green is going to end up being built more like Michael Turner by the time he's done w/ a college S&C program. Very similar running styles too, take the 3 yards if it's all thats there but the opportunity for more comes along they have the speed to take it.

He reminds me a bit of LenDale White (Reggie Bush's partner in the backfield at USC). And an obvious comparison from this past season is Eddie Lacy from Alabama.
And it will depend on how he grows and develops, but it's possible he could begin to approach Jerome Bettis. He runs very similarly and has much better speed than most backs his size (something Bettis had). Also, Green grew up a heavy kid. He actually has worked hard to get his weight down. Once in a big time college S&C program with a proper training table and nutritionists, don't be surprised to see him add 10-20 pounds fairly quickly. That would put him in Bettis' neighborhood. Bettis was special, so I'm not saying Green will be another Bettis. But if he can add size without losing any speed he could come close.

Anyone think he looks/runs a hell of a lot like Alfred Morris? They're comparable in size, speed, and they just look very similar to me.

Of the 10 or so guys mentioned in this thread Forte is my far the worst comparison. Hell lets go for the big one...Jim Brown.
