Dude, give it up! Auburn has a reputation of PAYING PLAYERS. THIS IS FACT. So you can have whatever opinion you wish. Your argument HOLDS NO WATER. My God, quit trying to make your opinion relevant over what Auburn and other SEC schools have consistently been party of. Sheesh!
I forget who it is, but a Michigan Grad living in GA saw the very payment made to his friends son after he committed to this certain SEC school where he is now enrolled and heading back for his sophomore year.

theyellowdart making lots of good posts itt. Every time one of our targets talks about/visits/names as his leader Clemson or an SEC school, it seems like there's always people saying "oh, well, obv he got paid" (yik sometimes people are joking) and it's every bit as lame as Bucknuts who insist that Urban pulled a prospect's offer or had an uncommitable offer or whatever other bs they spew when something doesn't go their way. Believe it or not, the University of Michigan is not a panacea...there are plenty of other schools with as much or more to offer a recruit, particularly if said recruit doesn't care too much about academics or dislikes the Midwestern climate. I'm sure from time to time recruits will get money under the table (personally, I think they should all be paid above the table), but to pretend like that's the only reason anyone would ever pick another school over Michigan is ridiculous.
Anyhow, Green is in town for three days! Let's make the most of it and reel in #24!

Sure there are other reasons for what ever. But do not insinuate that those rogue programs that pay players on a regular basis are just some saying may have occurred?
A U-M Grad SAW THE PAYMENT! My wife's uncle KNEW OF PAYMENTS MADE, and my Bama friend said HE KNEW PAYMENTS MADE.
I did not say Greene had money in his hands. I said to see Auburn's recruiting success FOLLOW THE MONEY. BTW Terry Bowden tried to stop the PAY TO PLAY which at Auburn is a tradition and happens constantly.
Insinuate what you will, but your head is in the sand. Sheesh, some people have lost all ability to reason!

I'm giving it a 30-40% chance Green commits this weekend. 3 nights in town, big event with half our class, long chat with Hoke, with both parents, the list goes on and on. If he does not commit this weekend or come away saying overwhelmingly convincing things about our chances in the future, I will put it at a 2% chance he eventually joins the class

If the shoe fits. . . . Time and time and time again SEC schools are in trouble for improper benefits. Just recently a former Alabama player was admitting to this; that they Alabama don't have boosters willing to pony up as much money as the Auburn boosters. . . . If you want to keep people from accusing you of doing something STOP DOING IT!
Also, when football players past and present are involved in a triple murder with a fugitive, then a recruits MOM says WOW this place gives me that feeling, tends to raise some eyebrows.
