Yeah, that's another one, and still the most shocking commitment I've seen in many years of doing this, but I've got a few right here for you guys too. Dan Samuelson, Kyle Bosch and Ross Douglas to name a few.

Vol 247 board is pretty quiet. There's a ohio fan trolling their board and it has turned the DG thread into a SEC >>> B1G argument. Love it.

They seem to prefer Volnation, they have a 468+ page thread dedicated to Derrick Green and another 28 page thread for today's announcement

Off the top of my head, it's the staff's best work and they've done a nice job on the recruiting trail since Coach Hoke was hire.

In terms of importance to the class and program, Shane Morris was probably bigger. Even though I could have recruited Morris to Michigan.

The fact that numerous commitments have commented on their nervousness, excitement, etc. regarding this potential commitment is a pretty cool testament to this class and their enthusiasm for Michigan and the class as a whole.

I feel like with or without Green, this class' chemistry will be immeasureable and will pay dividends later.

D. Green is a bigger commit, in terms of changing Michigan to the elite level. This will be apparent in 2 years.

Yes, because of the national name Green has created. Perception can be reality in recruiting. I've seen at least a few recruits (2014 WR Dominique Booth, 2014 RB Joe Mixon) tweeting this afternoon how excited they are to see where he chooses.

I'm inclined to agree on both, it's just not this huge announcement because Morris shut it down really early.

Green is the most public, but I'd almost say Dymonte was the biggest. I mean, preventing Urbz from flipping guys is more impressive than landing uncommitted prospects, right?

I'm not sure, I'm fairly confident Urbs is just letting him enroll and go through spring practice and Michigan and then he's gonna snatch him up. Get some inside info.
