He doesn't seem like the type to stir up confusion just for the sake of messing with people, but.....do you take anything away from that?

Most prospects that say they're going to shock the world end up picking the school we thought they were going to pick.
The last time I remember an announcement being a complete surprise was Lorenzo Booker choosing Florida State where everyone's money was on Notre Dame.
We'll see what happens later today.

I have a family obligations for at least the next few hours. Hoping to be back to join in on the discussion mid-afternoon (hopefully before the announcement).
Have believed Green to Michigan for a while now; no reason he'd name them his leader and then set a decision date shortly afterwards. I also heard the same things Steve did regarding him being a potential silent after his OV; part of the reason he almost completely stopped doing interviews after that point as well.
Really hard to believe that either Tennessee or Auburn could have done something in such a short time to overtake the momentum Michigan has built throughout his recruitment. Also worth noting that Tennessee has been putting out offers for some other RBs within the last week.

I remember him telling a story about the Fred Smith announcement, pretty much stated he doesn't go to these things unless he thinks the kid is blue.

another running back that ohio state will shut down....ie deveon smith. compared to ezekiel elliott green is nothing...thats why his dream school (ohio state) said thanks but no thanks
