You are probably right about him not being as fast as Denard but Green is definetly fast.

4.3x, not 4.3 flat. Obviously he's not as fast as Denard, Denard runs a 4.32 and has absurd lateral quickness that Green doesn't have.
But back up your DVR and watch Green's acceleration on the play where he leveled that safety, or load up last year's highlight tape. Dude has maaajor speed for sure. The number Rivals keeps citing for him is 4.37, I believe that number is at least close to the truth.

Green has looked really great in the carries he has had. He's trucking people left and right. I believe he has 2 TD's in the game so far.

Yeah Hackenberg hasn't looked good, but he sure looks the part and on some throws he did complete, you can see the fluidity and ease of his throwing motion. Despite this game, I can see why scouts are so high on him; he has a ton of potential.

ya I keep hearing about his speed but all they do is run him between the tackles. No swing passes, or screens, or sweeps. Strictly dives, traps, and read options. Half-time analysts just said he would be #1 power back but doesn't have breakaway speed. If 4.3 isn't breakaway I don't know what is

This seems true on all his throws, but he's letting the ball sail on him a looottttt. Who knows if that's just nerves or an effect of Hermitage's D line getting in his head, but it hasn't been pretty.

D Green might run a 4.3x in no pads.... but he is not 4.3x speed on the football field. A person that has 4.3 football speed would be Denard, Demps, even Dennis Norfleet. If you can sit here and tell me Green has that type of speed on the field in game....you're crazy.

And Brandon Jacobs has 4 in, and at least 40lbs on Green. Inuyesta was channeling his inner Fred Jackson.

I agree on the potential of Hackenberg. However, he seemed to lack some of the natural instincts in the pocket and was very hesitant to let the ball go at times. All that can be helped with good coaching though. Just don't think Hackenberg will be ready to play major college ball before his redshirt Sophomore year maybe.

Green wants to make a commitment in October. Relationship with coaches is important. Academics also very important. Last I checked the academic standards UM >>> Auburn. A smackdown of little brother in October would be nice followed by as DG verbal.!
