I don't know. They said that Finley was the first CT recruit for MSU since 2000. That was before recruiting started becoming more public.

Do you know what I find completely hilarious?
About a couple years ago when Michigan was landing anyone they wanted from CT, everyone from MSU nation was calling how overrated their high school talent was.
Now, a year or two later they are all wanting all these players from a school they called overrated just a short time ago.

dude they've always wanted (and the coaches have always offered) these players, they've just been talkin that shit because they could never get them and msu still won't get the top end talent from CT, the guys we offer, we get, they'll be fighting iowa and illinois for our scraps.

Not only that, but most of these kids grew up rooting for Michigan as their favorite team, as I did, many others on this board did, and a majority of the metro Detroit population did

Quality player whether he had a UM offer or not... good get, but i'm not worried about it affecting the pipeline.
