The coaches are recruiting players we can be proud of IMO. They live, eat, and breath MICHIGAN. These are Michigan Men, and I am proud to have them lead us on the field.

Norfleet will not be as good of a weapon as Toussaint next year.

1) Toussaint is an established starting Big Ten RB who rushed for 1000 yards last year. Norfleet is not.
2) Norfleet is a freshman. He will be lucky to see the field. Toussaint is not.
3) Norfleet is behind Vincent Smith and probably Justice Hayes. Toussaint is not.
4) Norfleet will only see time as a KR/PR. Toussaint will not.

His tape may be impressive and his speed is great, but that means nothing. He has not played against great competition and has so much to learn about being a college student and college football player. Next year I could see him winning the job as a returner on ST, but not much more. After VS leaves he'll be a great 3rd down back as long as he can block with half of VS's toughness.

Yes it does. How can you say that Norfleet will be able to adjust to playing competition that is bigger, faster, and stronger than what he is used to? Can he learn the college playbook? Can he gain weight? Can he stay injury free?

So he has good film, still doesn't mean anything.

To assume that someone who had offers from Cincy, Sparty, and Tennessee before getting an offer from Michigan the day before NSD will beat out a guy who rushed for 1000 yards while starting midseason for a Big Ten team is just absurd.

The following guys will be our feature RB before Norfleet: Toussaint, Rawls, Smith, and Hayes. Your expectations for this guy as a freshman are unreal in my opinion. I hope he can be a solid return man next year. That would exceed expectations for him as a freshman.

I said he was a threat, doesn't mean he will be the best offensive player. Denard Robinson was the biggest threat on the team as soon as he stepped on campus, does it mean he made a big impact or was even the best player at his position? No. It's simply being a threat to end up in the endzone on every play, Norfleet is more of a threat to get there with the ball in his hands than Toussaint, and that is because of his crazy speed.

If threat means "get in the end zone", then I'll still take Toussaint. He had plenty of touchdowns last year.

It's still naive to think that he will be a threat against good competition. Toussaint is established and has shown he is a threat. So I still say that the bigger threat to score on any given play is Toussaint.
