He is going to provide someone with a nice talented position player.

He's third round at best iMO

The Lions should be able to get him at the top of the third round if they wish. Even though they have more needs than DR.

He'd be an interesting change-of-pace to the bruising style of LeShoure and Bell.

Also, I think he'd be a better kick/punt returner than Stefan Logan.

I'd love it if the Rams took him but I think a good fit for him would be with the Redskins

Anyone see he measured in at 5'10", 196lbs?

Why would the lions draft him when we have Stafford, and his elbow might be an issue in the future pertaining towards the QB position?

He'll never be more than an emergency QB in the NFL. His future is at WR/RB.

Maybe Redskins or Colts...get RGIII or Luck another playmaker around them.

I think the best fit for Denard would be with the 49ers. They've shown a willingness to mix things up, so I could see them running a few offensive formations with Kaepernick, LaMichael James, Denard, Crabtree, and Vernon Davis/Manningham out there. They'll also have a late-round pick in each of the rounds where they aren't picking somebody expected to come in and be a starter. Give him decent weather, a head coach with UM ties, and a bunch of players who can fit spread formations and I think it's a nice fit.

* Denard Robinson played WR. He was okay. He caught the ball with his hands and out away from his body. He used a great double move to get open for a deep ball. I need to study the practice video to see just how good his route-running was. He might not be a natural WR, but he’s embraced the role and worked hard to impress. He’s also 196 pounds. That’s enough bulk to take hits, but won’t hurt his speed.

Also a tidbit for you Lion fans.

I was not impressed with the Lions DL coach at all. He yelled a lot. F-bombs all over the place. That stuff is fine with me, but he didn’t connect with the players at all. He kept yelling at the players, but wouldn’t call them by name or school. He just seemed to assume that the player would know he was talking to them. I hope the coach does a better job tomorrow. Also bugged me that most of his coaching advice was to be faster, quicker, or go harder. God forbid you actually explain something that is specifically wrong. He did that at times, but not enough for my taste.

He did 1-on-1's but they weren't allowed to press cover him. He's supposed to have another observation today or tomorrow and see if he can be fully cleared to participate.
