I thought it was Snoop Lion now? When did he go back to Dogg?

it is, he just hasn't changed his twitter handle

  • Denard took over the @umichfootball twitter handle and answered questions today, and one of the questions was from Kovacs:

Kovacs: "who is your favorite teammate?"

Denard: "you, because you make me feel really fast on the field"

    Kovacs: "#Vote4Swope"

    lol

Or some of Snoop Dogg's 10 million followers took his advice and voted.

    I'm saying A&M with the 2K lead.

She said not to worry and that as long as we stay within a 3000 of Michigan that they will give it to Swope. For several reasons:

First- EA is looking to pick up decreasing sales in the southwest, particularly in Texas. They tried this with Baylor but no one knows where Baylor is.
Second- there is the appeal of A&M as an emerging brand given the SEC move, Heisman, Etc., this in contrast with the perception that other state schools whose brands are falling(tech whose coach left and texas who have been mediocre). Apparently EA has been watching the brand movements closely.
Third-there is a noticeable decrease in sales in the northeast every time Michigan has been on the cover, they think this is mainly due to Ohio State.
Fourth- there has been a growing sales trend in the South in recent years and the perception is that a team with no established ****** will promote the SEC brand(which is a huge moneymaker) with out the bias of ****** and other areas.

I was actually pretty surprised by how close attention EA pays to the shifta in the college sports world, but they are a in a multibillion dollar industry and want to maintain dominance over college gaming. So it strongly matters who they put on the cover because it affects the bottom line.

So keep posting Ags, and don't mention this on Facebook because we've already seen how much the Mich fans like to b&m. For more details go to the Vore Room

Similar to voting in this country .... IF the government or legal entity likes the consensus ... then ok ... if not ... they will change it. What a joke EA.

lol Three SEC players have been on the cover in the past 4 years, if that didn't increase sells in the south, I really doubt Swope will.

  • Denard is closing the gap a bit again...

But if EA does what it says, and will only accept REAL accounts then Denard should win.

Actually, the opposite would be true. Have you seen how many fan page votes Denard has? Put down the pipe. Both sides are playing the same games. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Well seeings how Denard had a 14K lead before yesterday, which then propelled A&M fans to start creating fan pages to make up that ground and take the lead by a couple thousand most of those votes would be wiped out.

I really don't care who ends up on the cover, it's such a small matter of importance and I can't believe it's gotten so much talk. I would only be happy if Denard won, for Denard.

However any point made by you/Aggie fans saying we're cheating equally as much is beyond stupid. I'm still waiting to hear a legitimate explanation as to how a fifteen thousand vote lead, that was sustained for well over a week and growing in margin, dwindled down to even overnight. For online polls, especially on facebook, the people who are fans/care the most vote in the first few hours/days. You're trying to say fifteen thousand A&M supporters showed up overnight (literally overnight when the sun was down) and tied it up when there were no signs whatsoever of Swope catching Denard? You can't be that ignorant. You guys cheated by approximately 15/20 thousand more fake accounts than us, no matter what EA Sports claims in the coming days.

But as I said earlier, this entire thing is overblown beyond belief.

Clearly no one has seen how many fan pages have voted for Denard because that would require hours of sifting through page after page of votes. Stop pretending, man.

You do realize that Michigan has a much larger fan base and living alumni base than Texas A&M... right? And that a good number of them could be on the west coast... fingergun

  • Thank you for voting and participating in the NCAA Football 14 Cover Vote. Voting is now closed. In coordination with the schools, we’ll be going through the votes with Facebook to ensure the legitimacy of the voting and reveal the winner next week.

  • Voting's closed, now they'll go through the votes to determine their legitimacy and announce the winner next week. Last I saw Denard was up ~198K to ~193K. About 10,000 of those Swope votes should be thrown out though.
