Death threats?

  • Michigan recruit Logan Tuley-Tillman receives death threats over stunt - CBSSports

    A Michigan commitment who made waves by setting an Ohio State recruiting letter on fire and posting a picture of it to Twitter said Tuesday that he's received death threats over the stunt.

  • It blows my mind that this is such a big deal. Come on people, it's a rivalry and he's committed to Michigan. If Cam Burrows burned a Michigan letter I would think about it for exactly the time it took me to look at the picture and then forget about it immediately. Who cares?

  • Can I rant over here? Because this really pisses me off. It's not like LTT was burning the American flag. He just burned a censored envelope. I really hate the minority of my fan base, that tries to speak louder than the censored majority.

    The only way to stop this type of behavior is to literally police the Buckeye fanbase, and arrest the fans who are responsible. This is (at least) the second time in 2 years that Buckeye fans have sent death threats to teenagers, and, in both cases, it's probably the same fans.

    You're still talking about him burning a piece of paper when people are making death threats against a 17 year old CHILD. What's the matter with you?

    As for the people making the death threats, these are not human beings they're animals. I don't know what it is about sports that turn would be normal people into complete psychopaths. It's really too bad there isn't more accountability for what's said on the internet.

    yes what some of these fans are saying/doing is unbelievably inexcusable. there is absolutely no justifying it at all. i agree 100% with what an earlier poster said in that there should be more policing this type of thing even on the internet.
    people need to be held accountable. that said. i am a strong ohio state fan, i feel i am reasonable and respectful. the burning the letter thing was not a big deal at all, and you would NEVER find/hear me saying anything like what has been stated here under any circumstance.
    and while i know this may seem difficult to believe the vast MAJORITY of ohio state fans also fall into that category.
    these other fans need serious help or punishment for their statements and actions
