MSU has major QB problems. They need to offer any and all QBs they have a shot at IMHO.

Also the CA and OK guys seem high as well. I would not worry about MSU and their recruitment for '14. OSU and Nebraska are the ones to watch.

Our 2013 QB commit from PA, Damion Terry, has thrown for 2,700+ yards, 41 TDs, and just 5 INTs this year and his team is just now beginning their playoffs (up to 4 games left to play).

Are you trying to say HS QB stats actually matter? The only thing you should take away from HS QB play is their arm strength, ability to hit a receiver in stride, and their athletic ability. Stats are almost meaningless for a QB in high school.

I would be saying stats don't matter too if I had Shane Morris as my teams recruit.

Remember how successful Jake Heaps was for BYU after he killed it in HS?

No, that's not what I'm claiming. A couple of weeks ago he was bumped up to 4* from 3, Allen Trieu commented on Twitter that this kid looks like a 5* talent, and he was recently named as a finalist for the Gatorade POY in PA. MSU's QB commit for next year is in the running for Gatorade POY and it makes sense to claim that there are major problems on the horizon? How? Not only that, but O'Connor nearly made the national Elite 11 out of high school and the word is the staff loves his game. I'm not claiming that high school stats are a guarantor of success, but OP apparently knows absolutely nothing about the QB situation at MSU if he thinks that they should be panicking and throwing schollys at interested players.

Can any of them actually play?

I seem to remember the staff loving the game of Andrew Maxwell too. Pretty sure tRCMB classified him as a more athletic, more accurate, and a stronger armed Kirk Cousins.

Kirk Cousins has nothing on this high school phenom....MSU's glory years are still ahead for them

So everything is fine because you locked up a QB with offers from powerhouses like BC, Illinois, and Duke and wasn't offered by the top local schools

And you're counting on a kid in O'Connor who is not a lock by any means.... yeah makes sense.

I think he meant their 2012 QB recruit O'Connor.

Either way Terry is simply not that good and most likely one of the B1G's worst QB recruit for 2013. Gatorade POY awards are really what you are bragging about? Also Elite 11 is all about who brown-noses Trent Dilfer more and many of the E11 QB's simply aren't very good.

Zeke Pike was an "Elite" 11 QB. Shouldn't have to say much more than that.

Yeah but he had a Michigan offer and was a top 3 QB according to every or almost every site. Also we never got to see how good he actually was so that was a pretty terrible example overall.

He was rated as a top 3 QB until he was absolutely terrible during the summer camp circuit and his senior year.
