I was reading Dawson's twitter a little while ago, and a week ago he told LTT he was visiting Florida next weekend. This was in the works for awhile now.

Sucks that he is not a part of this strong class... Better that he heads south and away from any potential opponents... Should be fun to see who they go after... I am sure the best will get calls from the staff... Hope that his replacement is just as capable.

Did Brady tell him if he visited his scholly was pulled? I know Urban has an "unwritten" rule on that and I thought I heard Hoke did as well....I don't blame the coaches, they need to know what's going on and not be strung out til NSD....

Like I said, I don't blame the coaches....If you're committed then you don't need to visit anywhere else...These coaches only have X number of spots and when you think you have one filled and a kid then looks at the next "shiny" thing it can ruin a coaches class...
I know when Brionte Dunn was going to visit Michigan, Urban said "You better enjoy it" and he decided not to...
I HATED the way Tress would talk a kid out of committing and tell him to go everywhere, see everything and let us know on NSD....yeah, that worked...I can't remember a single NSD that we landed any 5 stars we were supposedly in on...Other than the Diva Pryor 2 weeks after NSD...

Thanks for being classy, decommits are a part of the process but it does suck. Would you rather have someone like Treadwell who has been close to committing then visiting everywhere, or a guy like Dawson who has committed but has been talking about another school for a while.
