  • most theses guys wont be on there team in 2 years not good kids bad backgrounds we all know what that means. not class people thats all im going to say. its sad that 0$u is still doing the same thing thay been doing for years. and not only in football, basketball too.

    I agree...though there certainly were reasons why ND split ways with him (not the other way around), and why Michigan took a look when they needed a RB very bad and passed.

  • He seems like a high star depth/role player to me. I watched some of his film when UM had their little flirtation with him, but I just couldn't get that excited (the only thing that was exciting was the fact that he would add stars to our recruiting class rankings. Yes, I can be superficial). To echo another scouting guy, he just seems like a really good athlete, but no defined position. Kinda reminds me a bit of Furman in that respect. However, who knows; with the right coaching he could become an effective outside linebacker I suppose. (Watch, now Karma will now make sure he's an All-American...)

    3-4 But it keeps changing... We had 6 Early Enrolees so we can sign over the 25 mark since they counted towards last year.

  • But you still have to worry about the hard 85 limit. That's where most teams have to limit their numbers.

    I haven't been following you guys in terms of who you are specifically going after, aside from the Mass Kids, Where you looking to fill the rest? OL I imagine?

    Currently we are at 81 with the 22 commits. We need to be at 82. But we expect to lose a few more due to a couple players considering transferring due to lack of playing time, a couple who will likely leave due to medical reasons, one who might be kicked off for disciplinary problems, and one who might quit/get kicked off because he became extremely overweigt (~400 lbs).

    Doesn't the 82 limit start next year? I thought we could have up to 85 this year and by next have to scale it back to 82. I could be wrong but I thought the schollie sanctions haven't started.

  • I'll try this again. Because you can't read. So get lost. He had no offer for a reason, and he got run off from ND for a reason. So take that to the O$$$$$U board. Now if the mods delete that again, well I will have saved my money. The same mods that let scUM and meatchichen references stand. I know the site is new, but come on. I've been here for 4 years, and it has never happened before.

    Yes, we need to be at 82 for the 12-13 year. They haven't started for this academic year, but we need to be at 82 for next fall. That's why what we sign in this class matters as well as who will be gone for transferring/disciplinary/etc by the end of the year.

    Actually, star69 is an Irish fan...and he makes a point with Perkins, who several schools, not just UM, passed because of academic issues.
