Why he decided that de-committing from the school he obviously liked the most in the process, just to visit a school on the other side of the country, was a good idea is beyond me.

He had his chance.
What he did behind Michigan's back cannot be overlooked or excused.
I understand that kids make mistakes (heck, I made a lot of them!) but that shows us something about Dawson.

I'm almost 100% sure he is regretting leaving Michigan, especially after he obviously didn't fall in love with Florida like he expected.

Look back at old rankings and alot of times highly rated prospects fail and often times it's cited that what they were lacking was between their ears. I wonder if that's the case here and maybe part of why the coaches said see ya.

I'd like to see the percentage of kids who de-commit under unordinary circumstances that go onto be successful players.

If you look through his last few tweets, he's been speaking really negatively about UofM. Saying he's not committed anymore because he wants to play for a "winning program." Michigan's wins were "living in the past." Someone asked him about competition and he arrogantly responded that he was the best out of the committed OL. He also said he hopes Conley's not getting the same treatment he got...as if it wasn't his fault. It's incredible how bitter he is.

I read those tonight too. I understand he is annoyed with the tweets he is getting, but he is reacting in a very immature way.

As long as he doesn't convince Green or Webb not to come, then I don't care what he says. He's Boren 2.0 without a doubt.
It's obvious that he wanted to visit Florida and was too immature to talk to our coaches about it. He then realized that Florida isn't that great and wanted to be close to his family. UM would have been his #1 choice, but as Wilcher said, there's no way we go back to him. Now he's just upset and wants to get back at us and stay close by going to MSU or OSU.
