Whats all the hoopla over Webb?? He is just another in a long line of Cass CBs who go to college only to be bust. Im gland he went to that crappy school down south gives us a chance to go after some bigger and better CBs the 2014 class is full of them. Oh and where is all those O$U fans who always make fun of Cass players for being overrated and crappy I guess it only counts when we get them. Good luck to him trying to crack the starting line up with all those CBs that douche bag coach of their's is getting.

Now I understand why ohio fans get so bothered when Michigan takes an elite talent out of their backyard.

Everyone remember Steve Elmer's recruitment? I think it was shortly after Michigan beat ND in 2011 that Elmer, seemingly out of the blue (no pun intended), committed to ND. Everyone was a little stunned and upset that ND had stolen huge talent who should've gone to Michigan. Anyway, things ended up going pretty well for Michigan's 2013 OL recruiting class wouldn't you say?
The same thing could happen for DB's this year, specifically good cornerbacks. I think we are leading or have a really good chance at landing Parkker Wesphal, Darius West and Jalen Watts-Jackson. Plus there are some big time national recruits that may have real interest like Jabrill Peppers, Nick Watkins and Troy Vincent.

Exactly. In the grand scheme, this probably doesn't matter. But still sucks it was our pipeline, from our backyard, out of the blue. I think the shock of it was most of the problem.
Right now, we have to be odds on favorite for Westphal, who is as good or better recruit than Webb, and several of the others. I am not worried in the least.

Everyone don't take this like im freaking out but Urban has raised the stakes. The state of Michigan doesn't have near the talent other states have in football. The talent it does have usually goes to Michigan. Urban realizes even though Michigan has to go out of state, the life line is the talent they get from within. He is making the state of Michigan one of his first priorities. Just like in a military battle, if he can cut of the supply line to the troops he can win the war. He is dying to crack the pipeline we have with CassTech, he already made a blow. When was the last time we took a guy from Glenville who had an offer from OSU, maybe Pierre Wood if my memory is correct? Urban and Coombs are visiting Cass along with Southfiled today. He's not messing around, our coaches need to continue to raise the level.
Don't take this as me thinking we are in trouble, I have extreme confidence in our coaches ability coaching and recruiting. Urban is doing what we have already done to him. I think his plan is very smart.
Michigan will be just fine recruiting, I also believe this isn't over with Webb.

Funny you say that because he grew up a Michigan fan and so are his parents. Conley was DONE at one point also. Campbell is more of a pocket passer then a spread guy FYI.

Look, I don't think Webb is coming to Michigan.
But if you think this means 'its done'...you know nothing about recruiting.
Every one of us can name a dozen players who said this...and flipped later. Nothing is done until NSD...that is how I always view these things.
