  • There's almost nothing on the ground. Maybe a half inch layer everywhere. Take it he hasn't seen much snow. I just walked to Stadium Kroger and back in a light jacket and tennis shoes.

    I want to make it known that Steve Lorenz (Tremendous) is the reason my trial month became a permanent membership. Smart move 247.

    There is about a quarter of an inch of snow in the outskirts of Ann Arbor where I am right now.... Glad he wasn't here 2 weeks back when there was around 6 inches.

  • 2014 RB/LB Gary Hosey (Cass Tech) at spring practice this morning; wouldn't be surprised if the entire Cass crew was there. I figured this was a possibility but no plans were set all week.

  • Call me crazy but I would not be shocked if Hand committed Sunday or Monday. UM is everything he is looking for in a school. Great football, great academics, great coaches and a family atmosphere. He should commit now because he knows UM is where he wants to be.

    I'd put it at a .00001% chance he commits. He has stated many times how he wants to take all his officials and is very deliberate with his recruitment.

    I don't think so. He sounds like he has a very specific plan laid out. I doubt he throws it out the window after one visit in March.

    Hand is one of the more grounded, and smart recruits I can remember reading or hearing in interviews. He won't act on impulse.

    Hopefully Hoke knocks the visit out of the park.

    This is best case scenario. If he states that Michigan is the leader and has set the bar, I am happy. Long way to go in this recruitment.

  • Hand seems like he is about as even keeled as Derrick Green... He will take his visits and play his cards close... I love the way this staff recruits and think the super staff that Hand traveled with will be floored with how these coaches are... Love that recruits and guys from the 2013 class are getting over there to help out with the efforts.

    I just tossed out a close to zero percentage.

    Although he won't commit, it definitely doesn't mean Michigan can't grab the lead and keep it throughout his recruitment. Hand knows what he is looking for in a school and if Michigan meets though wants/needs there is no reason Michigan can't become the standard for the schools he's looking at.

    Well yes ... but to 'create value' - you need your value proposition aligned with the strategic objectives of the buyer(s). This is why I am always inquiring on what the recruits requirements are in a school. The value proposition must align around the buyers needs/problems/opportunities.
