I'm surprised (and a little disappointed in a few of you) no one has yet to comment that it is trending bad for us that Hand does not like long car rides.

It's okay, he will fly out for his trips to/from Ann Arbor these next 4 years.

Well, based on some of his comments, distance is a factor that will be considered in his recruitment. It won't be a primary factor, but it is something Hand will consider.
Fortunately, if Hand does come to Michigan, this is probably one of the only times he'll be driving to Michigan. He'll probably fly in the future.

An Interesting quote by Coach Brown at the Mblock blog about - Kyle Berger.
I genuinely don't want to make light of the unfortunate situation at Ohio State, but some people that know Berger personally think that kind of environment might be the difference maker when it comes to choosing the Wolverines over the Buckeyes. Berger will arrive in Ann Arbor around 8 am on Saturday to do a photo shoot with Tom Lemming and then will attend the spring practice. He also plans to interact with Coach Mattison and new linebackers coach, Roy Manning.

That Berger rumor is bogus. He's focused fully on what spring practices look like. Those allegations aren't going to sway him away from Ohio State.

I think most of the snow has melted at lest it has here and im not to far away from AA.

Snow in AA is melted, however it's supposed to snow into the morning. I don't think that will play any factor whatsoever. It's supposed to clear up tomorrow afternoon and be relatively nice on Sunday.
What I'm curious about is whether the coaches will guide him away from all of the St. Patrick's day parties, or just acknowledge the fact that State/Hill Streets are going to be popping off.

Yeah, no its not, VA gets a bunch of snow as well, his area was really hard hit this year, I live in VA 3 hours from VTech

Derrick Green already tweeting at Hand this morning; the Green/Hand relationship is something we discussed when Green committed to Michigan a couple months ago as a potentially important piece of the puzzle as well.
Derrick won't be visiting Michigan again until the first week of April (his spring break).
