i agree and as you all may know by now im an osu fan. i heard about this the day he committed and watched the video on youtube and thought then that it was fishy. seriously i think the smith part isnt as big a deal even though he is the AD but if you have legends making these videos, it opens up a huge can of worms. any team could do it.
as for every other violation mentioned though, i feel they are less than nothing

No way. Gene in it is way worse than an alumni. The AD is SUPPOSED to know all the rules. There's no way he should be breaking them. Him of all people seeing as what just went down on his watch.

I don''t have insider so I didn't know, but there were supposedly rumors that he wasn't going to qualify?

As a buck fan im cringing. Again. But honestly can't the ncaa just go away? $15 per diem? Schools like yours and ours clear $10m per home game on the backs of these young men. And vids? I mean smith and griffin are on staff. Theyre meeting recruits in person. Its silly. One vio is for Urb saying Good Luck to to a recruit. Not making excuses...a rule is a rule is a rule.
It would just be nice if these rules exercised some common sense.

The only one that I think is bad is the gene smith and Archie video. I don't know how the hell gene does that video when he's already on the hot seat and knows the rules, dummy.

Even before these recent violations, the way he handled everything last summer and some of his comments after the slap on the wrist 9 scholarship losses, Gene Smith is both arrogant and a moron.
