I was mistaken. That 6 pack up front with different looking cans just looked like SKA from the look of them.
We already have the equivalent to Yuengling out west, Fat Tire. I'm not a big fan of lagers, but both of those aren't bad for the style.
Yuengling is good and so is Fat tire but i prefer light lagers... I will never turn down a Stella but if you ever have a chance to drink Staropramen... do it. its delicious and from Prague.
I really just don't enjoy lagers. Give me their warmer fermented brethren, Ale!
i like pretty much anything... except overly floral or fruity beers... not a fan of pumpkin ales either...
This is my current drink
Lagunitas Lil sumpin sumpin up next
probably my all time favorite brewery! ... i love their undercover ale. it kicks you in the teeth with 9.7% ABV and still tastes like a great Ale
Lagunitas Sucks is one of my favorite DIPAs.
It's tough getting their beers here in PA, but everything I've had so far i like.
I have a 6 pack of those left, love that beer.
as you already pointed out in the Hops Crew thread... Myrcenary is probably my favorite DIPA of all time... sooo good. ... sucks is amazing as well. my favorite Lagunitas though is a 2 way tie with Maximus and Hop Stoopid.
Great list of IPAs btw. I wish I could get my hands on some Heady Topper.
Damn man. I have yet to try most of those. Can't get any of those here. Mine would be (in no particular order): Modus Hoperandi, Lag. Maximus, squatters Hops rising (probably my fav), hopslam, and Myrcenary DIPa
Wicked Weed is literally right next to the Orange Peel. It's some of the best craft beer I've ever had; probably my current favorite brewery all in all. And yeah, it's relatively new, but already probably one of the most popular in he area.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of beers to you like?
Stuff like Blue Moon.
Yeah, you are lame like me haha. I enjoy Oberon, Blue Moon, Shock Top, there is a Chocolate home brew IPA type here in Kalamazoo at Old Peninsula downtown that makes it, it's like 9% ABV. That's about as fancy as ill get. All the Beer-heads I know go to Shakespeare's Pub downtown, they have a decent selection.
Shakespeare's Pub, offers 44 beers on tap, an extensive gourmet menu, and nightly drink specials.
I hate that you can't get bells or dogfish in Nebraska
Bells >>>>>>>> Dogfish Head. But both are good. Bells is elite, though.
Can you guys get Founders?
Nope. Beardown can. That is why he is crucial to our thread. He is my only access haha ... Michigan doesn't get tall grass or Odell's does it? Bc that's what I'm sending along with another guy with goose island bourbon country stout
Both are among my favorite breweries. Dogfish comes out with some really good stuff, and some stuff I don't like at all.
