I don't know how many folks here drink good beer, but let this thread be for those that do. NOT a drunk thread, but one to discuss beer, anything new you've tried, and new releases. So fellow Michigan fans, whatcha drinking?
I'm currently enjoying a Snake River Zonker Stout, and have some Oskar Blues Ten Fidy for later in the evening. Both are excellent stouts, with the Ten Fidy being a Russian Imperial Stout.

Being that I recently moved to Kansas City, I'm sampling the local fare. There are currently 3 samplers of Boulevard in my fridge, and I'm working my way through them.
Boulevard has some incredible brews.
That's a New York brew, right?
New Hampshire actually.
Ah ok. I remember once having their IPA, and it not being my bag. I'll have to try it again. I love IPAs though, especially DIPA's as they're my favorite style by far.
There's a bar here in VA that has over 500 different kinds in stock and they have a 100 beer club. Currently I'm only on 24 but so far I've figured almost every IPA is terrible. I have had some good beers though Crabbies, He'll or High Watermelon, Wells Banana Bread, and Tusker just to name a few. When I see my list I'll add to this topic but about time we had one!! +1
Interesting. IPAs and DIPAs are my absolute favorites. I really like hoppy, bitter beers though. That said, they're not for everyone, and I know lots of folks that find them to be bad tasting.
I'd say my second favorite style of beer is stouts.
Some people just cant handle IPAs. Understandable
Been drinking a lot of Ommegang's stuff lately. Three Philosophers, Abbey Ale, and Iron Throne ale are my jams, super bout it them these days.
Just cracked open a Troegs Nugget Nectar getting ready for the Pens game
Got a top 3 of IPAs? If you are from NH, I am jealous of your proximity to Vermont and therefore, Heady Topper.
My top 3 IPAs/DIPAs (that I've tried)
1. Firestone Walker Double Jack
2. Bells Hopslam
3. Avery Maharaja
My top 5 in no order
3. Heady Topper
4. 2 Hearted Ale
5. Dogfish Head 120
I mean so far I haven't found any I liked but maybe I just haven't had the right ones.
I used to hate IPAs and hoppy beers. Then I started going to a brewery in Asheville, NC called Wicked Weed. They specialize in using a crazy amount of hops and produce some of the best micro-brews I've had. Now I love hops. Well at least hops crafted into an extremely good beer.
Wicked Weed is relatively new, right? A girl I used to live with raved about the place. I remember going to a brew pub in Asheville, but don't remember the name. It was sort of across the street from the Orange Peel.
My name is Matt. I'm a Husker. And I am an alcoholic.
Not much of a beer person, but I do like Bells Oberon, probably my favorite.
I haven't been back to NY since Christmas, so I haven't gotten to try Iron Throne. I'll have to get some when I'm back. I want my birthday present to be cases of Ommegang, Saranac, and Yuengling.
I think I see a SKA variety 6 pack, and some Mycenary DIPA.
1- first to upvote the OP

I also love a solid quad or trippel ... Anyone try any of these?
