I like it
I think I'm just gonna stay up late tonight, then hopefully I will wake up just a few hours before game time.
Let's get it
I do that all the time. I'm probably going to sleep at 7 a.m. and wake up around 2 p.m.
I intend to roll out of bed, take a shower, throw on clothes, and head to the local Michigan bar...regardless of when I wake up.
9 AM drinking, here I come!
IIRC, we did not have a noon kickoff game yet. i hate noon games. weekends are my sleep in days. I don't remember the last time we played 8 weeks in a row without a noon game. hopefully NW, minny and iowa are 3:30 games, but i doubt it.
agreed, I love the schedule this year. Wish we could always heve em like this.
are you gonna watch the game their too or just get some drinks and watch at home? I don't know how fans can watch the games at bars. I need to be at home watching it by myself in quietness. I need to hear everything that's going on on every play, no distractions.
Ditto. I feel it's more socially acceptable for me to be drunk and useless for the rest of the day when I emerge from the bar at 5:00, as opposed to me emerging from the bar around 1:30 (yay CT!).
now we just have to move the ohio game to 3:30 or 8 and it will be perfect
The bar I go to is the home of the Michigan Alumni Association in St. Louis, so most of the bar is reserved for Michigan fans on gameday. People are usually very good about respecting the game, and the surround sound is cranked up, so I never have a problem watching the game there. I also go with a good group of guys, so we always claim a table front and center, so it's like watching at home, but with smoking-hot 20-year-old waitresses bringing us food.
EDIT: Admittedly, my 23-year-old girlfriend is just as hot as any of the waitresses, but she doesn't bring me as much food, nor does she bring me new beers as often.
