Got to drive and then look of the passing lane, or kick it out. That play made no sense.
Probably shoulda have taken him off the dribble but I'll live with his step back in that situation being its his go to move and he's pretty damn good at it
Always. Burke always takes the step back 3. Drive to the hoop and try to get fouled or find an open player.
That was fucking predictable. I'm sick of giving the ball to Burke and watching him take a step-back 3 for a big shot. Let him get in the lane or run a set play or something. My gosh...
just wanted to come over and give props. this is one of the best games i have ever seen from both sides. cant believe how fast my heart is pounding. here is hoping for more of the same in OT and a great ending
Got to drive to the damn hole. Poor choice there.
Point guard not point scorer.
This team lacks a veteran mentality, maybe that's self-understood given the youth of Robinson, Stauskas and McGary, but that's gonna be what keeps this team from going very deep.
Nothing pisses me off more than watching any team do the "dribble around & heave" play at the end of a game or half. Especially when it's OUR team. We took a time-out for that?!
"We're here to preserve democracy, not practice it." Go Army! Go Blue!
I would have liked something going to the basket, but I don't think thats a bad shot by Burke. That's a shot he makes a whole lot, and he had a great look at it.
Nobody is very good at contested, step-back, fallaway 25-footers.
Didn't want to make a mistake, or leave time on the clock for them.
What annoys me about that call is that there's a lot of bumping going on, and then they call a bump away from the ball.
God damn you Burke. You've only carried us to a number 3 national ranking and are a front runner for POTY.
I say you give the ball to the best player in the conference and let him make the play. The shot didn't go in. Tough
On a side note, Lenzelle Smith Jr is easily in his mid 30's
Exactly. They aren't calling a foul going to the basket. Get the look you like. Burke has shown he likes that shot. Buried it at the end of the half against Indiana. Buried it to start the OT against Craft.

What's with the 3 ball parade ? Take it to the damn hole & get to the FT line.

I still think you take it to the hole, and kick it out.
Drive the ball. We're in the FUCKING bonus right now!
Our interior defense is extremely porous. The last 2 games have had enough rebounds/dunks by our opponents for a Sprite Slam Dunk contest.
They should be driving the ball now more, though. Bonus time and we are absolutely settling. Everyone wants to put the game away halfway through the OT.
Honestly, can this team execute a play vs. a set defense that actually ends with a high percentage inside shot? You're gonna be in a world of trouble against any team built around D and rebounding if all you got is jump shots and transition points.
You play to win the game, not to avoid mistakes and, thereby, possibly losing.
