is it me or is Michigan struggling to lock 2014 talent in their own backyard...
I thought you were going to give us a really funny story about doing acid or something. Safe to say I'm disappointed.
Back to your concern, don't be concerned. There is almost a full year until signing day and with the way this class is shaping up, there are only going to be a few heavily targeted in-state kids like Drake Harris, Malik McDowell, Lawrence Marshall, and Tommy Doles.
hahaha yeah man i dont want to lose malik to notre lame ..
I think it is mostly you. The only ones that are going elsewhere so far is Webb and Harris. Harris is a very soft commit to MSU atm and I think ends up in our class. Webb I'm not so sure. I really do not think he wants to compete for playing time with his old teammates.
As for locking down the rest. I honestly think the coaches to some degree are slow playing the kids they want. I get the feeling that the coaches are telling them to take their time before committing.
We're in on some big names and usually those guys want to take their time and soak in the experience to enjoy the process while ensuring they pick the right school. Smaller class size for '14, so numbers are limited. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride...
Yeah it's too early to worry about anything. I'm just enjoying the commits we're stockpiling.
Who needs a backyard when you have a tropical rainforest? MONE
Not sure if serious because we haven't missed on any one of our targets. Webb didn't have a committable offer because we were higher on other guys like Westphal and Adoree Jackson. Drake Harris is going to flip at some point, so not counting him as a miss. Lawrence Marshall, like Webb, didn't have an offer the coaches would accept because they want Hand/McDowell/Mone as their DL in the small class, which was why he picked OSU to begin with. And Chance Stewart <<<<< Wilton Speight, so no worries there.
Michigan has a chance to have a sick class for '14. Meaning .... a 'wow' type class. And you post this?

It's you. Everyone, even Alabama, loses talent they'd like to have. Look what Michigan's done in Ohio the last couple years. NSD is a year away and you're in for a long and painful trip if get over heated now.
^ this guy
Our recruiting class will likely be composed primarily of 4 stars; who cares where they are from?
