Saturday nights basketball game against Purdue is senior night and will be the last time Zack and Stu take the floor as players at Crisler. The impact these 2 unheralded kids have had on the Michigan Basketball program is just unbelievable. I would like for us to use this thread to give our thanks to Zack and Stu, share our favorite moments or post your favorite highlights from their Michigan careers.
I found this really great article(linked below) that details how Zach and Stu ended up at Michigan and the impact they have had on the program. Here is a little piece from my favorite part of the article that i feel sums up the leadership qualities of Stu and Zack better than i ever could:
Above the lockers inside the new $23.2 million William Davidson Player Development Center, Beilein has placed permanent reminders of the program’s core values.
Integrity. Passion. Appreciation. Diligence.
Read between the lines and it may as well say: “Just do what Zack and Stu do.”
I would also like to mention that UMhoops.com has posted a senior day gallery of Stu and i am assuming they will have one up of Zack as well. The Stu gallery includes photos and video clips of memorable moments in Stu's career. It also includes his recruiting highlight video. It's worth a look in my opinion.
Now back to senior night. I am not really a sentimental type of guy but come Saturday night when Stu and Zack play their last game i might even shed a tear a two. I am really going to miss watching them play in the Maize and Blue. What they have meant to Michigan is just not measurable by the points, rebounds, assists, etc... they have accumulated throughtout their careers.
To Stu and Zack i simply say Thank You!

I love these two. They really are one of the driving forces that brought back Michigan basketball and will be remembered forever for it. They're all that's right about college sports: hard working, mainly focused on academics, and GRIT THAT WON'T QUIT.
Stu you p**s me off sometimes but I will miss your defense and clutch threes. Zack you are one of my favorite players and I hope you make it to the NBA
Novak already has a plan in place with one of the Ross professors to play in Europe and has a job lined up in Europe so he will be working at a big firm and playing in a European basketball league. Unbelievable.
Great for him, success on and off the court.
That's pretty cool. I did not know that. I have no doubt that he will be successful in whatever he does. That goes for Stu as well.
Novak is my favorite player on this team. I'm gonna miss not having him play for Michigan.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
Hail... to you both!
He is one of my all time favorite Michigan players and will always be.
Here's a highlight clip from our win last year in East Lansing which was a turning point in the season. It includes a whole lot of Zack making 3s and a couple of big buckets toward the end of the game from Stu.

Excellent thread. Those two helped Coach Beilein resurrect the Michigan basketball program. I will always love them for that.

Great thread! Stu has gotten a lot of hate the last few years but think he's having a solid senior season. Zack has been amazing over the past four years. He'll do anything to help the team win. The amount of hustle plays these two have made will be missed next year.
Stu has gotten a lot of hate but you are absolutely right about him having a very good senior year. The team has really stablized since he has been inserted into the starting lineup.
In honor of Zach Novak, I started my Words with Friends game using the word Grit.
Here is a great picture of Novak.
He has fingers growing out of his armpit.
