If yes, is it because he living up to his billing or is the best of weak options? Hopefully the first.
No to the first part, yes to the second. I don't think Green will start from day 1, but he will eventually win the job IMO.

No. He will later in the year, though.
I don't entirely agree with the: "no, but later in the year" argument. I think it is much more likely that he gets a lot of playing time in the the weak non-conference schedule to prepare for the conference schedule.
It seems that RB and WR are the positions where playing time as a freshman can come easiest. As it is I think the rest of the RBs on the roster won't provide too much of a challenge, minus Fitz but I expect him to still be not fully up to speed following his rehab so Green can still beat him.

Nah, just a broken leg. Should be fine before next year.
