Does anyone want to play right now?
I'll play you.
That all sounds good to me.
Alright let me send you a request and I'll invite you.
Can't, I'm not at home.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
How much harder is Heisman than All-American?
Play a game on each and find out.
I agree on the same play over-and-over. We had a guy in our ESPN league that was scoring over 100 points per game on Heisman. He'd just exploit the AI flaws and run the same play over and over. Annoying because then you get all the stats, come in 1-2-3 for Heisman voting, and get all the recruits, then lose his bowl game when he played a human and couldn't exploit them.
I'd vote for Heisman though if people can handle it. I think playing the computer on All American is just a bit too easy. Heisman with 4* teams you might actually lose, on All American I think we'd all go undefeated.
Yeah, I hate when people exploit the AI like that. We could take vote on it and see what everyone thinks, I'm comfortable with it on AA or Heisman.
Maybe I will be alright on Heisman. Just played Michigan vs MSU, won 21-10. Went down by 10 in the first qtr. Game changer was a 73 yd bomb to Roundtree to end the first half.
Denard was 20 for 25, 209 yds, 2 TDs, no picks.
Toussaint had 95 yards on 17 carries.
Countess had 3 picks!
Are you talking about OHRocket? And I agree, put it on Heisman, people will get frustrated, but it is a challenge.
If a lot of people are playing for the first time in a couple seasons, probably good to start on AA, then in year 2 we could always bump it up. Don't want people getting discouraged throwing 8 interceptions a game .
How I did it at home back in the day was build up to it. If I was winning 66-3 on Varsity then time for AA (that was usually a couple games in). Once it was blowout time on AA, then move to Heisman.
Oh, and I was using Nevada's Pistol offense.
I'm thinking of first year AA and year 2 bumping it up to Heisman, is that cool with everyone?
Fursty can't handle me!
No, it was TheRichKim. What sucked more was he played as Sparty.
OHRocket was just a really good player, I think he said he hadn't lost a game in over 50 virtual seasons or something ridiculous (cpu or human opponents). I played him in our last National Championship (he was PSU, I was USC) and kept it close for the first half, but lost by 21. He ran the ball 40 times on me and still average 5+ yards per carry. I knew he was going to run, he made no attempt to hide the fact he was going to run, and yet I still couldn't stop him no matter what type of defense I picked.
31-28, but I'm just going to run the clock out, 40 seconds remain.
Yeah, I played him before the season and he destroyed me.
Final score Texas Tech (me) 38- KSU (Fursty) 28.
HOW DID I BLOW THE LEAD!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Haha I can't believe I actually won that, you were up 21-3 at half man!
The focus waned. Too many voices in the party I'm in maybe? No excuses for that regardless.
