I understand, this is a Michigan board I respect that, I really don't mind the banter, I enjoy it, but respect that this is a Michigan board
Think OSU fans are encouraged because of the jump Troy Smith and Pryor made from their 2nd year starting to the third year....
Big improvements by each....
Time will tell....
That was my thought as well. Though, while Pryor improved statistically, he always made me wince as a passer. He was one of those QBs -- half his throws were great (especially his deep-passing game), half were wounded ducks. Very little touch on his throws. Brax looked like that his freshman year, did improve a bit Soph year so there's hope. Smith was electric in 2006, and night and day what he was his Soph year. A lot of people s*** on him for the Florida game, but he didn't really have a chance with the OSU OL getting bullrushed all game.

I've always really liked Troy Smith, and thought he would have a chance to be a starting QB in the league. Pryor has never really impressed me as a thrower though. Decent in college, but nothing special. I'd say Braxton's ceiling is Pryor as a thrower. Which wouldn't be to shabby of a combo considering how much of a threat he's with his legs.
Bias aside(always questionable when some one says bias isn't there when talking about a rival) I will be surprised if Braxton becomes a solid thrower. He has a nice arm, but I haven't seen him properly read a defense.
short answer: yes.
Reilly Gibbons, Tackle, is going to announce today and guess what he has an OSU offer.
Looks like Miami will have a pair of very good tackle's for the next four years.
Yep, they really should. Gibbons will be a good one, and I would've loved for the coaches to pursue him if we had any particularly desperate need at OL.
OSU lock Sam Mustipher commits to ND...
Great pickup for them. I really liked him but I want OTs as the last two linemen in this class.
So basically te only good OL player they could get is Jones?
Trout is rated higher than Jones.
Trout higher than Jamarco Jones? That's a terrible rating. I think you get Jones and he's really really good. But no way Trout is better.
Damian Prince seems like a legit target for them. He's going to be a tough pull, but OSU is probably in as good of shape as anybody.
I think you just crushed is dreams buttesnake
My bad Ducksworth, I thought he meant Marcelys Jones. Marcelys Jones is around a 3*, Trout is a 4*.
They're just predictions but it sure is fun to see where the analysts think these guys are going to end up.
Ahh I may have been the one misunderstanding it. Carry on! Jones, Jones, and Trout would be a good OL haul.
I agree, I love this thing.
Quenton Nelson to ND
Mich and ND filling up fast at OL. Bars will decide soon to get a spot in one of these classes I'm guessing.

Aww, you beat me to it!
Also - Orlando Brown jr is deciding tomorrow, and looks to be choosing Tennessee.
If somehow OSU whiffs on Jamarco Jones, they are in some deep sh*t. It looks like Jamarco is going to be a Buckeye though. Sadly.
Yeah, I would love to see Jamarco go elsewhere, but c'est la vie. They're still going to run into depth issues very quickly if guys get injured, leave the program, or don't develop. They lose 4 starters after this year, and they don't exactly have a whole lot lined up to step in.
They'll probably get one of the JUCO guys they're going after.
Those guys are going to be baptized by fire though. Their line should be in dire straits pretty soon.
