Sorry meant to quote Frank C
I deff need to eat a little crow on that. With that said a lot of UM posters showed they truly had no clue.
I don't think OSU will run the BIG. I think it will be a 2 horse race with UM and OSU competing for a spot in the 4 team playoff most years.
When I was saying OSU had a 30% chance of winning a NC over the next 4 years. Which turned out to be not as crazzy as most posters initially thought. I was thinking UM had around a 20% chance.
Also I could do the same thing with many of the BAMA teams recently and the USC teams from the early to mid 2000s. My point is it takes talent to win a NC. Which booth UM and OSU are bringing in.
Urban has also had success every place he has been a HC. It wasn't like UF was his one bright spot.

Have you watched Wilsons HL tape? The kid has wing back written all over him.
How OSU fans see him matters a lot less than how the Elliots see him.
I think part of why osu fans are optimistic about "running the B1G" in the near future comes from two things:
1. Meyer's record vs rivals and bowl games is ridiculous. EvenUM fans have to agree that is impressive. Where Hoke's is not. Smaller sample size for Hoke.
2. The 12 and 0 season with this team that couldn't score on some high school squads last year gives the impression of great player development and game planning to go with the studs he is recruiting.
We all can see that Michigan is getting better but osu has owned them for so long that it just feels like we are supposed to beat you. It's probably how you all felt in the 90's. it's gotta end some time but until it does you just feel confident in the W.
I don't think these things are necessarily going to play out but I do believe a lot of people think this way.
Unfortunately your right but its up to the coaching staff to make sure he understands.
Something to note is Urban never had a 1,000 yards rusher until last year. Almost had 2 if Hyde didn't get injured. I think some recruits may not want to share the ball as much as Urban wants to.
Just give me a minute to pull up my dossier of analyses for all of OSU's targets and commits, and I'll get back to you.
@TheStateOfTheU: Heard talk that Meyer showed up to talk to McDermott, who told him not to bother. Caused Meyer to stutter.
In related news, Dontre Wilson is taking a visit to Texas, and Ezekiel Elliot has shut down all interviews/media until NSD. While it's unlikely, there's a marginal possibility that OSU doesn't get a single RB in this class.
One acct of Urban/Kc convo-Urban: "Are we in your top 5?" McDermott: "No, sir." Urban: "Are you considering us at all?" McDermott: "No, sir"
McDermott might as well have spit in Meyer's face and then b!tch slapped him for good measure.

So much for the 247 'warmth' meter.
If Elliott peaces out on Urban....it would just be too fitting. this happens
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
CMXI, I think it's fair to say that if we don't get a RB in this class it would not be a major concern, there is plenty of depth in that department. Easy EEE will be there when the dust settles, will Poggi? talk about a strange turn of events, like a roller coaster!
Well I guess it's better than crying, seems I heard a coach in this neck of the woods may have shed a tear or two! I'm sure Urban has been told to pound sand by many recruits just like everyother coach.
Ehhhh. I don't know about that. Everything we've been hearing from OSU fans over the last 6 months is how important playmakers are...
playmakers is a whole different discussion, the reason I say that is because everyone has a different definition as to what a playmaker is, I think there are offensive PM and defensive PM, our big focus has been on getting "PM" that can stretch the field, mostly focused on WR's this recruiting cycle. I would also say there was a focus on getting PM on the defensive side of the ball from the DB point of view, I think there was a lack of big plays coming from the back end of our defense. I guess if we were thin at RB my guess is that we would be recruiting more of them for 2013.
Zeke would be a HUGE loss. He is the perfect mix of speed + power + play-making ability for an OSU spread offense that is more run than pass. I'm not a fan of the small little scat-backs like Rainey and Demps Meyer was fond of at Florida. I'm one of those weird fans who actually preferred the Pryor Spread when he had Beanie Wells in the backfield as opposed to Boom Herron. Not that Zeke compares to Beanie, but he has a more powerful running style more comparable to Wells than Herron or Hall. I like Wilson in the DAT position (though he has considerable less talent and speed than DAT), but I don't like him at all if it means losing out on Zeke.
Some people are hypothesizing that Zeke feels insulted by the Wilson pursuit, so he's waiting until he finds out whether Wilson is in before he decides if he wants to stick to OSU. Others are saying it has nothing to do with that, he just feels loved by Mizzou and they've told him that they're moving to a more run-friendly offensive scheme (as opposed to their current Spread), want him to be THE RB in it, etc.
Dude burned some bridges down in FL... Snagged Bosa but other than that his efforts did not pay off down there... Love it
