he has stated in articles that im to lazy to pull up, that he doesnt want to play OT but wants to play on defense
You stated Tress was great at recruiting OL. If not sarcasm, you really do not know enough about OSU football to talk about the subject.
Besides the brew crew, who were JT's top OL recruits during his tenure???
Love the vest, but OL recruiting was not his best area due to Bollman.
Just to put this thread to rest and I know it wont but to answer the question this year yes we will be left with scraps for the most part.
Meh, you guys are in good shape with Dawson and he's gonna have a good career wherever he goes imo.
I think hes a Spartan, 2 many ppl in his camp will push him to stay in state especially his head coach. It just puts pressure on next year and developing guys we already have in the program. Thankfully Warner seems to be legit. Warner = OSUs Oline Coach.
I assume you mean Warriner.
LOL yea its late and I am an Idiot.
Thanks, that's embarrassing.
He's talented, but how many talented kids wash out due to the mental aspects of things? I hope he does well, but if I were forced to bet one way or another....
Added the offer to Kenny Lacy...

Hey mofo Option Q is going to work out this time.
Lacy is definitely wavering, so you have a good chance.
Did OSU just offer Lacey or something?
And we reoffer Dawson. Basically, what is OSU going to be left with?
Not much to answer your question. Thankfully 2014 looks good we really need Dodson and Decker to pan out.
Hope we struck gold with Lisle and Gardner. Decker and Jacoby Boren have already both played this year and Urban has raved about them. Then we have a converted Defensive Lineman who Urban has mentioned multiple times as a guy who is going to be a great player here in Chase Farris. Then we redshirted Dodson and O'Connor who were both doing well in camp but got injured and redshirted . And then we have a few other guys who havent played much like Underwood, Brown, Baldwin. With our OL coach, we'll be fine with theses guys. Now if we dont get 4-5 Offensive lineman in the 2014 class then we will freak out. But as you guys have and will continue to see, our OL is fine as long as no one gets hurt.
We are likely to get one of Hunt, Lacy, or Dawson. That ain't begging...that is an embarrassment of riches.
out of those 3 which one is going to play WR?
You're going to need it to keep up with our DL!
I'll give you Taylor Decker. I remember watching his film last year and thinking he'll be a solid player. Dodson looks good too, imo. So that gives you 2 good OLineman. Truthfully not impressed with any others though. I guess we'll see.

Not trying to be scientific, just grabbed this off of rivals (so disagreement about ratings on certain players is warranted)/team rosters (OSU's is in alphabetic order, Mich's by #--just how each roster was naturally sorted). Much closer than I had anticipated, though. Let's just hope your last two classes earn their ratings, otherwise you're in as much trouble as we are haha. Something like 8 out of your 10 4&5 stars are from the last two classes (and Lewan's likely gone in the draft, which leaves you with 1 upperclassman rated above 3 stars). Was Rich Rod as bad at recruiting OL as Meyer's been so far? lol

He was terrible, he recruited oline his first class and then took 2 a year after and lost a few olineman on the team during his tenure. (iirc 3 or 4]
