He's not really your coach as in you own him. Hence the quotation marks.
The way some of you guys talk, OSU shouldn't even bother showing up against michigan. You're kidding yourselves if you don't think OSU will be anything less than a formidable opponent as long as Urban Meyer is the head coach.
I respect the job that Hoke is doing but don't underestimate OSU's staff. We are hardly just getting michigan's scraps. That is ridiculous.

OSU will be a formidable opponent, but to say that they will go 12-0 or 11-1 is the most ridiculous statement ITT.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
We were told they were going 12-0 last year. "Shock the world" and all that bs. OSU has as much or more talent as anyone in the B10, but they are a mess as a team and it will take Urbie a least a year to install his offense. By then, we will be equal in talent. I think they will win 9 games this year. That's very good for a first year coach, especially one moving from the power I to a spread. But 11 or 12? That's just crazy talk.

Yes, I hope we can keep it a game against the AP national champions.
We are college football
personally, I think OSU will go 10-2. The schedule is favorable. Not nearly as tough as your schedule. Depth is a problem too.
Michigan, Mich. st, and wisky are all what I would call pick em' games.
you have anything else to say? ok then, bye
I agree with 10-2..
But as for your pick 'em games, I would add Neb to that list. They're definitely a solid team no doubt
I think they'll be worse than last year. I'm expecting a disappointing year for the Cornhuskers.
idk who they have comin up but they lost several of their best defenders and martinez is a hot and cold qb. I could see them takin a step back.
Im with you. nebraska is getting way to much hype. I see them 3rd in the legends behind UM and sparty
All the talk about what a tough game it will be have me a bit perplexed. I understand home field advantage and all but its not like last year was a close game decided by 7-10 points, we blew them out by 4 TD's and they lost their best defender from each level of the D with crick, davin and dennard. I expect more competetive than last year but a 2 TD win would be more competetive
While we lost some beef up front, I think by the time we play Nebraska we'll have settled in on a good DL rotation, and we just got better at LB and CB, so our defense will be fine. Fitz will also be back, and Denard should be quite comfortable in Borges' offense at that point, so the offense might even be better than last year. I don't see it being a close game. Nebraska is still adjusting from Big 12 competition in recent years - the top of the B1G is a lot more competitive than the teams Texas has been fielding of late.
Absolutely, we should dominate this game again this year and I would expect us to beat Nebraska comfortably the majority of the time in the future.
I was at the nebraska game last year, and from what I recall it was a very close game up until the 3rd quarter. Up until that time, Michigan could only maintain a 1 TD lead....and then after a few turnovers and a fumbled kickoff, our lead became insurmountable. If we had more mistakes earlier on in the game and they capitalized, or they were simply mistake free in the second half, the outcome would have been much closer.
Exactly, and it could of been ugly if we didn't fumble inside the five twice. I think we sacked "Jesus" at least six times.
Buckeyes aren't too fond of history, they seem to forget everything that isn't favorable.
Don't get me wrong, I loved that game and still can't change the channel when it comes on TV. But in reality in means nothing at all... you're talking about a game that happened 4 1/2 years ago, while Urban was coaching for a completely different team, facing a Michigan team that had a completely different coach and staff. Nothing is similar to the situation of that game anymore. It's not an argument in Michigan's favor in anyway.. other than showing the obvious that he's beatable.
You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.
ok then 40-34
True. we got bragging rights on osu and ND. sparty has bragging rights on UM.
we'll change that last one this year
So will we...
don't bet on it
Try next year when Denard's gone.
Yes, Meyer will be left with scraps at OL.
Meyer's probably going to whiff on Dennis Finley too. How sad is that? Timothy Gardner was probably plan Z at the beginning of the year.
