You're completely missing the point of his post.
The Bucknut poster said that he doesn't expect to get those 3 LBs and only expects to get one. CMXI proved that a ton of Bucknut posters have said that they expect all three.
Also, we obviously don't know what the coaches want. That's the entire point of this whole recruiting nonsense. If we did know what the coaches want, none of these sites would exist. He's just going off the information available.
Most OSU fans wanted to offer Kimbrough but we never did offer him so you can't call that a miss and if we did offer Kimbrough most analysts though he would have committed on the spot. I'll link his profile at the bottom of the page that shows he didn't have an offer. Secondly we have offered Mike Mitchell and did so awhile ago and again I'll link his profile to show you. And regarding the 2014 thread what do you expect from an Ohio State message board. Of course there's going to be delusional homers. And as an OSU fan I'm more concerned about our WR recruiting more than linebacker.

I agree actually. You need some WR talent. Marshall is good, but he'll be more of a RB/ATH type as opposed to a pure WR.
Are you looking at taking one or two more WRs in 2013? I know you're in on Allen, Quick, North, Foster, Whitfield, and some other good players.
It looks much better now. Great job CMXI
Every teams 2014 wishlist if full of 5 stars at this point. Up until the very end there were still posters here saying we were going to get Cravens. How many people were talking about getting Pocic if we had room, as if we were automaticly his favorite. Especially when all that Dawson BS came up and people were acting like he would switch as soon as we called. Happens to every fan base at every school.
Also, he probably looked at ESPN, which for some reason shows no OSU offer for Mitchell. Makes no sense as he's about to commit to you
...I know. That's why what the OSU fan said was wrong. Which is what CMXI showed him. You're trying to side with the OSU fan but you're saying exactly what we're saying...
Also, Pocic would've had a very hard time saying no to Michigan if we had room. Not anymore, but back before Kugler committed.
Funny ... you need to tell yourself this logic on MICHIGAN's board? Only bucknuts.

+1 for that too!
Thank you, thank you very much.
exactly, pocic was tryin to still claim he had an open offer after we took 5 OL and ohio can claim whatever they want but they have missed on many prospects, including those from their own backyard!
Speaking of their own backyard, I'd just like to say that we now have the #2, #4, #8, and #9 players in Ohio - while OSU has #1, #3, and #6. If you expand that out to the top 15, it doesn't get any better, as we also have #12 and #14, while they have #11 and #13. Also, ND has 2 of the top 10 in Ohio.
If you let your rivals steal the majority of the top-10 talent in your state, you're gonna have a bad time.
They don't need Ohio, remember? Urbz is creating a pipeline to Florida.
looks like urbie french fried when he shoulda pizza'd

yea why take top ohio talent when urbs can have anyone he wants in the nation?
HAHAHAHAHA Ohio State offers David Dawson...
LOL...way for those coaches to scout players...
LOL....Corch Urbs late for work, sons!!

Hey, when you are coach Meyer you settle for guys like Dawson. Gotta get those national guys first.
I'm surprised that Ol' Urbz even offered him. It just seems kind of pointless considering his new 11 WR strategy.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
Not sure OSU offered all of those players so I would not say that Michigan and ND are stealing anyone. It looks as if you got your info from 247 rankings? The two players going to ND OSU never offered and I believe OSU offered Dymonte, Geodeon and McCray? Though I do agree Michigan is doing very well in Ohio this year. Out of all those players I think Dymonte is the hardest to let leave. From things I have read if OSU would have shown some love earlier maybe he would be a Buckeye but who knows. As a Buckeye fan all I can do is trust the Urban knows what he is doing. Watching Tressel do so well with Ohio players over the last 10 years makes this hard to understand. Ohio has always produced great football players so I am sure you guys are getting some ballers.
Urban 2 Hoke 0
Ohio produces some of the best FB players in the nation. While it doesn't hurt tOSU directly if they pick up national recruits, it doe help Michigan directly since they are able to grab players that were tOSU bound under Tressel. Seeing a simlar thing play out with in Michigan with MSU going national, though MSU is being forced to with Hoke locking up the regional talent.
I think MSU going "national" is a default plan, because when you miss a majority of your primary targets in your state and region, you have to throw out offers to everyone and anyone to better the odds of actually landing someone.
I just find it hilarious. You're right that OSU offered Dymonte, Gedeon, and McCray. Also, I'm amazed OSU didn't offer Butt, because he's been tearing up the camp circuit (owning at the Opening and now replacing Breneman for Gridiron Kings), and Urban clearly wanted two TEs this year, he just whiffed on Henry, Heuerman, and McNeil (and arguably Anzalone and Gedeon too).
You can argue that OSU may not have wanted either of the players ND poached (although Zaire is looking pretty damn good at E11), but add in the fact that ND is winning head-to-heads left and right (for brothers of OSU players, FFS!) and you've got yourself a sticky situation. The fact of the matter is that it has never been a winning strategy to let a majority of your home-state talent go elsewhere, especially if you're the only big football school in the state.
