It really doesn't seem that big of a deal when other people get charged for DUIs and assaults. It's just a college kid doing dumb things. I'd expect him to play on Sep. 1st.

Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Idiotic..but not a big deal.
So dumb. Friends don't let other friends slide on cars.
Am I alone in not having the remotest idea of A) why Will Campbell was sliding across the hood of a car or B) how that causes $1k+ worth of damage? This story confuses the hell out of me.

If he offered a $2000 bounty for damaged hoods, I could understand the felony charge. This seems to be much ado about nothing, although he still has to face the music.
The only thing wrong with this is that he got caught. He's just having some fun.
While stupid, it isn't bad at all. Its something I could see any of my friends doing on a night out...
Question A) He just got done watching his favorite episode of The Dukes of Hazzard.
Question B) I'm guessing at 325+ pounds he put a couple of scratches and maybe dented the hood.
Definitely no Bo Duke.
Wish him the best with this.
I have a military story exactly like this. My buddy and I were drinking in Singapore. In between bars he tried to do the exact same thing. I have no idea why but he got a running start and tried to slide across the hood of a bmw. He also did 1k of damage to the hood (dents and scratches)got arrested in singapore for public intox and vandalism. It was seriously no big deal that ended up blown way out of proportion. Boys will be boys. He will be fine we all live and learn and do dumb things. My friend was held in Singapore for 2 months before he paid damages and they dropped charges.
At least Will didn't drive through the diag.
How were the prazzies in Singapore?
Lol no idea I spent most of my time in the bars. There music scene is very diverse as Singapore is basically made up of foreigners mostly businessmen. I have no idea what the prazzies consist of.
I have no idea about (A), but I think (B) is answered just by his nickname...hoods aren't stress-tested against having 325-pound DTs land on them, and at this point most are designed to crumple on contact.
Or wrestle a porcelain God to the floor at Markley.
I did this at 6am on a Sunday morning my senior year. In hindsight, one of the dumbest things I ever did.
*Correction: Friends don't let 320 pound friends slide on cars
I'd like to hear this story.
This is outrageous.
You just do not arrest Mean Joe Green, period.
It's an old ritual.
Officially I advise against it.
In comparison I could say I was dumb and dumber.
It's best to have a small car. Be careful in the arch.
