Well, Shane and LT are both on the white team for the Under Armor AA game. Hopefully Shane decides he should throw a few his way.
Frankly, if he goes to Ole Miss, I'm going to root for Ole Miss to also snag Antonio Conner and Robert Nkemdiche, so they can play the underdog spoiler to a bunch of other SEC teams. I'm sick of seeing Alabama and LSU on top.
Nope. Michigan has the better football team and therefore this is absolutely no reason at all why anyone would choose Ole Miss over UM other than getting paid. None.
Most people who follow recruiting on message boards have an extremely hard time putting it into the context of a 17 year old kid rather then their own biased views as a fan.
We should not try to rationalize a 17 year old kids thought process. It will never work! Let LT go where he wants and be happy for him.
3 players wont be enough to put them at a level to compete with bama and lsu
Well, of course not, but hopefully those 3 big names could cause a ripple effect. No matter what, snagging the #1 player in the country does mean something. Mizzou's 2013 recruiting has looked better than expected, I think in no small part due to DGB committing. Snagging two top-10 talents and one of the best receivers in the country will boost Ole Miss' profile considerably among recruits.
Possible. In the end, Ole Miss will still get smacked in the SEC. I view them similar to an MSU - might have a short stretch of decent years, but little to no national damage.
When I discuss the LT situation with friends of mine, I can easily make cases for both schools. However, in terms of historically putting players into the NFL, draft positions, quality education, etc., Michigan wins hands-down on all these fronts.
Is it as simple as he likes the school better? Of course. He may way a decision based on something as simple as this one item.
“Those who stay will be champions”

We have treadwell right where we want him. Since when has his #1 school mattered? Its changed 3-4 times already. Its best to not be his #1 because hes bound to switch his mind up. Its like musical chairs, and hopefully Michigan is that last seat to sit in.
