We'll see, I'm sure I will change over the next few months as I finish up college applications and figure out where I'm going. I say that because I'm pretty stressed over the essays and spend a few hours a night working on them, so I've become pretty pissy over the last couple months. I think that has shown in the game threads too.
Swinging at junk pitches early on.
Everyone gets pissy in game threads!
And what do you mean i putting in work tonight? That im posting more then usual.
haha, I was just saying what Rod Allen always says.
Pretty much. I know I do, and most others do as well. Everyone has their opinions and the heat of the game brings it out in sharper tones.
I'M GLAD SANCHEZ DECIDED NOW WOULD BE THE BEST TIME TO SUCK.
Yup par for the course!
As a Yankees fan, I really want to beat the O's in 4, since Verlander will be well-rested and I don't want to run anyone but CC out against Verlander. He scares me.
I hope the Orioles beat the Yankees so the Tigers have an easier path to the World Series. Playing in Yankee Stadium is always a nightmare for the Tigers' pitching staff.
I can't even be mad if the Orioles win - they've been in the basement of the AL East for so long that I think it'd be great if they finally got their shot. I already love them for knocking the damn Rangers out - I'm not sure why, but I just hate the Rangers.
I agree, it has a good feel to it. I'm pretty happy they didn't get knocked out in the first game, I'm sure it would have knocked their feeling of achievement out and they probably wouldn't be that motivated next season.
I think everyone hates the Rangers, Nolan Ryan always has that pissed off look on his face and they seem to always get breaks.
Hitting the ball at the fielders every at bat, going to need to get it out of the infield if they want to win though.
I was actually at Game 6 last year when the Cardinals had that miracle comeback win. The atmosphere was unbelievable. Living in St. Louis for a few years wore me down enough that I can't help but root for the Cardinals on occasion, and that was just such an incredible game. I partied with Cardinals fans til 6 AM that night. If you were a young dude or a girl wearing Cardinal red, the old-timers were just passing out shots and drinks left and right.
Sounds like a great time. I would love to see a game in St. Louis and in Cincinnati, hopefully my earnings will allow me to see a game in every MLB park.
Prince Fielder is getting robbed tonight.
Offense showed up today.
Whelp, this game sucked.
How can't you hit Balfour? The guy throws flat ass fastballs and an average breaking ball.
Their starter pitched a good game, but you gotta get more than 3 hits in a playoff game. That's embarrassing.
Prince may tie it up right here, but if he doesn't, this is the perfect pitcher for Delmon.
Yeah, Anderson was on tonight, I'm just talking about Balfour right now.
God dammit. I'm out for the night.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
