Happens when you have had a decade to figure things out before us.
Yup, it helped us got rid of our worst coach in Michigan history and got us Brady Hoke. Was very meaningful (though Ohio State can't even go to the Gator Bowl right now ).
Go Blue and Go Titans!
12 - 0 is never meaningless.
You mad bro?
We were pretty mediocre until 1900, when we hired Fielding Yost (greatest coach in Michigan history and is from West Virgina), and Ohio State had a program for a decade by then (started in 1889 and we started in 1878).

Huh? This season didn't help you get rid of RR and get BH. That was 2010.... Last season helped us get Urban, and this season brought us the First Year of the Urban Era. Laying down the first year framework for his tenure. How is that really meaningless. I was referencing this season with the Gator Bowl.
Nope, you must be though to even come to your rival's board to try and troll.
So we both started like 30 years ago?
Didn't realize we had accepted a bid into the Gator Bowl, I apologize.
Must have missed it.
And it was meaningless cause you still played for nothing, everything your team did this year was basically practice. Did you get a reward for going undefeated?
I meant 1889 and 1878 respectively.
I don't know if it's accepted. I think it's projected. Yeah, history. and We started the Urban era. I'd rather go 12-0 and have no where to go than the Gator Bowl.
Still 11 years is a long time to figure what football is. For the majority of that time we didn't know what football was...
I guess only 5 Heisman winners! lol
I'll try to ignore your fortune telling on the future record of the buckeyes. I'm not sure how you know the outcome of future seasons. Meyers past record would lead one to believe that double digit wins are not out of the question.
You can keep trying to sell the "lost season" and discount the actual results on the field but I don't think anyone's buying it. I know everybody that didn't get whooped yesterday and isn't still tasting the sour grapes knows what a great season we had. Sometimes you have to just man up and shake the better man's hand when you get put in your place. 26 - 21. See how long it takes you to forget that.
I saw we are projected to the Capital One bowl.
But not going to a bowl game and facing a team that is comparable to yours and actually PROVING something is very meaningless. What have you proved? You went undefeated against a very weak B1G, and that's it.
The season is still in the record books and the team record is in the record books. I am not sure where you guy's are thinking the season doesn't count for us. It absolutely counted. You guy's are playing exactly 1 more game than us. That's it.
This whole argument is pretty stupid on both sides. Michigan lost, it sucks as every fan would have liked to have won. Our chances at winning a B1G title were decimated when Nebraska beat Iowa. No matter who won or lost Michigan is probably still in Capital One Bowl. Nice season by Ohio and congrats to you guys. I can care less what Tressell did to earn post season ban and think think NCAA rules are pretty stupid that he broke. I think he should be celebrated for his on-field accomplishments. Look forward to next year with a different outcome in Ann Arbor
Seriously, the only bowl game that means anything is the NCG, and until we have a playoff, all the other games are meaningless except for the amount of $$$$$ they will generate for more sunbelt and cali cities. And all these other bowls give out nice participation trophies, yea being the outback bowl champion, or some other sellout corporate bowl champion is nothing compared to playing for that crystal football. The bowl system is dead, accept it, 35 bowl games and a 6-6 requirement has taken away the prestige of making a bowl game, 34 teams will leave as "champions", but only one team will will win the prize everyone set out for at the beginning of the season. Who cares about a bowl ban, and who cares about going to a bowl other than the NCG.
Michigan fans, you lost, get over it, and move on. I've lived in both states and I heard more excuses for the 05 and 06 loss than I care to remember. Man up and quit being a bunch of whiny bitches, I'm sure your players aren't complaining about the officiating or the play calling, etc. Competitors don't complain, they are driven to work harder, and work to beat the opponent next time. MAN UP.
AND GO DOGS
Not trolling, just accept defeat and be done with it.
Shouldn't Rutgers be super amazing since they got a 9 year head start on us?
I believe there is only 40 or 50 games that separate us (even with the decade difference, so that is around only 5 games a season) and Ohio State would have to win every single one of those games to tie our winning record against them.
Don't try the "weak schedule" crap either, because according to cfbdatawarehouse, Michigan has had the toughest SOS all time.
Hmm.. I guess we'll never know if we could've beat an SEC team or ND this year.
I accept defeat, I accepted it the second the timer hit 0.
A game doesn't hold that much control over me.
Your better than that, I've read some of your other posts. All time record that goes back over 100 years and that's your ammo? You aren't ND, you are UM, act like it.
Ohio State.......our nuts will kill you
And Michigan is still 8-4....still lost to Ohio St...and is still a 2nd tier team in a weak B1G.
But at least the Ohio St faithful cheering a former coach makes you feel better about all that.
