About further NCAA investigations. I wonder if this could affect Derrick Greens recruitment if indeed true.

I would love to see us make a run at Tashawn Bower too. We were on his short list before he visited Auburn and he would give us another strong, athletic DE.
Even the ones that think they can get away get caught
I don't have time to go through it, what's up?
"My source says the NCAA has been digging since the Cam situation never giving up. The changed grade on Jovon Robinson gave them a source to start with. This source finally broke down and confessed that the volleyball coach at Wooddale HS was the one who had the grade changed. She also provided Jovon as well as other's rides down to unofficial visits to AU. She is a Auburn grad and many think she may be the delivery mechanism in the Cam and other money transfers. Also MSU is in trouble over the Will Redmond case where he was basically bought and paid for lock stock and barrel to come there. Rather than pay severe penalties MSU agreed to turn on Auburn and this may be more of a crucify Trooper situation than a crucify Auburn case.He is truly in their sights and they want him bad. They apparently caught him in some lies. One this about the Volleyball coach is she took Robinson down to a unofficial visit without notifying his mother. On the way home the car allegedly broke down and they had to pull off and spend the night at a motel. The next morning the mother put an APB out on her son. To say she was none to happy when he showed up with the volleyball coach. He spoke of this going all the way back to the Cam situation only this time with money trails and actual proof. As the Mod's at Auburn Rivals are saying, it looks really bad. Really bad. Their fans are trying to push it away as just another attempt to get them, but it may be the nail in the coffin. Due to their better than everyone one else attitude, I hope they put them away and take their little crystal ball. Again this guy was sworn to many more secrets which he termed unbelievable so as someone said this could get fun. I just hope it's not another one where Auburn walks away looking like the innocent university we all know they are not. Most of all I hope they get Trooper Taylor and he is never allowed to associate with college athletics again."
Wow, I am reminded again why I don't ever go over there. Deny, deny, deny. That's not possible blah, blah, blah. If your school has figured out a way to set a casino for certain athletic win fall, then getting rides from former grads along with other benefits doesn't seem out of the question.
I hope this does help us with Green and Bower if he de-commits.
I will believe it when I see it.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
I agree. I don't see anything coming from these threads. First, odds of a random internet message board poster getting exclusive details to something like this without any sort of mention in the media is unlikely. Second, plenty of recruits go on unofficial visits with coaches/family friends, so why would going on an unofficial visit with a volleyball/soccer coach be a violation? Even if she paid for the visit, there is clearly a pre-existing relationship if she works at the school where the kid goes. Thirdly, regarding the grade changes, how can they ever tie that to Auburn directly? Sure they could find some disgruntled/nervous person who says Auburn told them to change the grades, but it's doubtful they ever find a paper trail of it, just like the witness who said Pryor took $20k in cash, nothing came of it because it was one person against another with no way to prove who was telling the truth. If something came of it, Auburn would use the same defense they used with Newton, "We had no idea this was going on, we just told him to work hard on his grades, and then somebody else without our knowledge might have altered the transcripts."
Interesting news. Curious to see what the NCAA states - if anything.

LOL at the Sparty fan trying to stay relevant in the thread. "Specify this is Miss State"...LOL Like anyone even thinks of East Lansing good or bad!
The NCAA needs to investigate Emmert instead. The amount of violations nation wide should be enough to put into question his ability to keep control of collegiate sports.
Emmert is terrible, the single worse decision i've ever seen was Enes Kanter being ineligible for Kentucky when his family offered to give back 30k he made when he was 14 in a pro Turkey league. The kid could have stayed oversees and continued to make money but he wanted a college education.
Well, here is MSU's news...
That's just one of the many examples why this guy needs to go. I had no problem with the way he handled the Penn St. situation but other than that, he's been horrible. Nothing but wrist slaps and cover ups. He allows the SEC to run rough shot over college football using all sorts of different tactics like oversigning and parents that are allowed to act like their kid's agent (Cam Newton). His ties to Slive, Saban and LSU are almost sickening. His lack of action and responsibility in protecting student athletes by not pushing harder for HGH testing. Of course if Emmert were to test for HGH than his buddy Saban wouldn't have O-linemen that bench press 600 pounds. Before the SEC slaps read this and get mad I should also mention that we the college football fans are told that the reason the SEC is so strong is because the high school talent down there is superior to any other region. That may be the case but why then doesn't an ACC team step up every now and then to compete for a natty? They recruit the same region so it would seem that one of the stronger ACC teams should be able to play with the top dogs of the SEC. Instead they lose recruit after recruit to SEC teams and this is just accepted as normal. Emmert's agenda to Disney and their $2.25 billion contract with the SEC allows the select few to play by their own rules and the rest are bound to a rule book. Miss St. won't face any real investigation but instead will get some slap on the wrist or some loop hole that will negate any punishment like Cam and Auburn.
Sorry for the rant but as you can see, I'm not a fan of Emmert.
He is the latest in a chain of incompetent NCAA presidents.
He just seems to have more of an agenda as you stated.
So much smoke, but they never seem to get nailed. Any developments today?
And the slap on the wrist he gave to Ohio compared to what USC got
