Ohio State troll here, think about if they moved "the game", if it was early in the year think about how it could mess up a team's year going forward, both teams treat it as the measurement of there success for the year, think of the let down for the team that losses if it's early in the year, that could truly reck a season, just more thought on it
You make an excellent point here, as both teams' seasons are traditionally measured in part by whether or not they won that particular game. I hope it never gets moved, but if it did, maybe the perception of it would be redefined because the loser would still have an opportunity to win its division and beat Michigan/Ohio State in Indianapolis. That possibility might ease the sting of the loss a bit, and provide extra motivation for the rest of the season.
