Typical sparties trashing a guy who decided to stay and get his degree:
For his senior season.
Yet all our guys ran for the hills with 3-5 round grades.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
That'd be a big mean line.
This is the sort of move that will motivate the entire team around him to win a Big Ten title and more possibly.
He's a RS Junior, so shouldn't he get his degree this year not next year?
I hate to say I told you so....BUT....I DID. F*CK YESSSS
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
Logic doesn't work with them. But yes, correct.
Yeah, good call Moon.
Thanks for the responses guys.
Still waiting on Cravens though...
I can't even tell you how happy I am that I was wrong. This is amazing. This is seriously just amazing.
I think this is personally the wrong decision.
But never be said that Taylor Lewan is not a true Michigan Man.
I'm personally hoping he just goes the Jake Long route - comes back and improves to the point where he's going to be in contention for the #1 overall pick. While it may not end up being the best career move, I think it's the "right" move because it's what he wants and it's what will make him happy.
"He has been afraid of Gholston the last two seasons. He came back knowing he would be Gholston free."
Exactly. I wouldn't have made that choice, but ain't freedom grand! I am happy for us though...this significantly improves our chances next year.
Yeah, he's been afraid...he's been afraid that his game may deteriorate by playing against second-rate talents like Gholston after more than holding his own against Jadeveon Clowney.
Can't be a wrong decision if that's what he wants to do.
He's an elite LT and the NFL will be there for him. He wants to stay and win a B1G championship and get his degree, which is huge.
I'm sure they'll enjoy the videos I just posted over there. Then after they read this, they'll comment how I ran back to my home board bragging.

Wow.. So apparently he's being paid here, our education sucks, and he's an idiot.
You stay classy, Sparty.
They mad that people actually want to stay at UM instead of fleeing that hellhole in East Lansing as soon as they can.
I just think it's hilarious that we had a guy who was a 1st round lock decide to stay. MSU had 3 guys who are all 3-4-5 round guys and they all left
I wish that emoticon was green and had a S on the boat.
LeVeon Bell is completely understandable. Gholston and Sims could've stayed.
As a UM fan I'm happy that he's staying but IMO, he's making a mistake. He had a chance to be a top 10 pick this year. Possibly top 5. At worst he would have been top 15. He has much more to lose then to gain staying another year. Also he's going to have to compete with Cyrus Kwonjoe (sp?), and Jake Matthews next year to be the top OT taken.
Doing what he wants, coming back for his senior year at a place he loves, and getting a degree is a mistake?
I get that you would have taken the money, but you aren't Taylor Lewan. Whatever he feels is best for him is the right choice and isn't a mistake.
