Those who know the teams better than me, who is the better matchup for us? UNC or Kansas? Who would you rather see?
Also, I was given a tough question by my dad yesterday. If someone told you you could take our normal outcome OR be guaranteed a spot in the championship where we lose to MSU, what would you do?
I think that most of us could agree that if Kansas plays as bad as they did their first game then they would be the team we would want to play. But UNC played a very good game against Villanova so they could very well win this game. Plus they are peaking at the right time. So I would say Kansas would be the team I want. I mean knocking off a 1 seed.
We definitely have to play like we did last game. The only bad thing we did was give up a lot of turnovers which was not good. When we get everyone involved in scoring our team is the most dangerous team on the court. So hopefully they kill it next Friday! Go MF Blue!
Normal outcome. We wouldn't hear the end of that loss by MSU!
Good god, why did he have to say
UNC has more raw talent IMO, but they're young (much like us) and therefore inconsistent. They also like to run and they turn the ball over more than KU. Also, Jeff Withey (KU) is a beast of a shot blocker and that could give Burke and Hardaway trouble driving the lane. I'd rather play UNC.

Even though it means a FF win and a spot in the NCG, I don't think I could stomach Sparty's arrogance and non-stop bragging. I'll take our chances with our normal outcome.
Exactly. They would be more insufferable than they already are now. We need to win a second national championship before they win their third or we will never get them to shut up. I'll take our chances of getting past KU, UNC and UF vs. their chances of getting past Duke and UL.
I'd much rather play UNC. They're small, so that'd be a good matchup for us. Withy for Kansas would pose a serious problem for us.
You mean Whitey?
Withey is a great shot blocker but he is slow on the perimeter. I think the key would be for Burke and Hardaway to knock down mid range jumpers instead of trying to take it all the way to the basket when Withey is there. North Carolina scares me more because I believe they can play at a higher level than Kansas when they get everything clicking.
Oh and screw the Big Ten. I want Iowa State to take down OSU. Let's screw that bracket up even more.
I'm definitely rooting for Iowa State.
Terrile defense. Make Craft shoot the ball instead of closing that poorly and letting him drive by for an easy lay up.
Now that we've advanced I'm pulling for my bracket. So...lets go OSU, IU, KU, Duke, and Miami.
My brackets are so messed up anyway so now i generally pull for upsets or whatever is worse for Ohio and MSU.
Yesterday, I had a thought that it would be cool for an all B1G final four. After further thought, eff OSU.
I agree with this but I like the matchup about the same with either team. UNC has shooters a lot like ours in that they rarely have a night where everyone goes cold. And Bullock and Hairston have been locked in lately. Mitch McGary vs James Michael McAdoo would be a fun matchup but one where McGary is definitely favored and none of their big guys off the bench can handle McGary. Also, they have a freshman point guard whom they rely on heavily and he weighs about 140 pounds. Trey Burke would have a great game.
Kansas is probably the better team but they're pretty untested IMO. They played in the Big 12 which was a joke this year. They've got plenty of experience and Withey fills up a lot of holes on defense but they kind of score by committee with a bunch of average to above average offensive players. Like someone else said, you catch them on a bad night and even TCU has a chance.
But basically, the way we played yesterday I'm not scared of either team.
I think a lot of people's have been screwed But 10 of my S16 are still alive and all FF picks are still playing.
I'm not fussed at all who wins this. OSU winning helps get the conference respect and that matters to me, Iowa State winning is an upset and hurts Ohio State, so that would be good. Really I can live with it very well either way.
Hairless Nuts are about to pull away
Let's go Iowa State!
Go Cyclones! I thought they were done a minute ago.
That finish by Lucious was sick!
