agreed, good chance he never goes through with the visit and if he does its likely just to satify curiosity and confirm he made the right decision, if he had that high of interest seems likely he would've visited before making a decision jmo
i heard we've cooled on sua and are about to pull his offer
idk for sure but can't the coaches turn down unnoficials also? i thought that last year they told schutt no thanks when he wanted to visit and this year they cancelled anzalone, o'daniel and jones visits or was it they just let them know they were full and they might as well not visit?
Does anyone now when Su'a is planning to visit? Maybe .... the coaches think they have a chance here.

Check the link, I believe he said he was trying to set up a date w the coaches
For S'ua to push for a visit, when he has absolutely nothing to gain, I find interesting IMO. I do not buy the 'free trip' concept. He has nothing to prove. Nothing to gain. Why waste your time? Something else.
If I was committed to Michigan or any school for that matter, I'd like to take official visits to other schools to be given the first class treatment and to see games for free, even if I knew Michigan was where I wanted to go. That's what most of us believe Cravens is doing, he's been a HUGE USC lean for a long time before he committed.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Here is where I do not agree. Why would a 1st class athlete, professing his love for the school of choice, decide to spend time on 'first class treatment' at other schools? Is his time really not that important? Wouldn't Michigan coaches have better things to do?

This...they told them we were full and it didn't make sense to waste their parents' money coming up.
That said, I do think coaches have to accept unofficial visits on some level...it's not like some random 1-star can just roll up to campus and be like "Hey, give me a tour."
That's what I think Reuben Foster is doing.
I'm pretty excited about this visit. I don't think they would allow him to visit if it was just for a free trip and to see a game. The coaches must think they have a legitimate chance at him. So I'll just keep my fingers crossed for now.

haha, you poor guy. Cravens is going to get your hopes up and ruin recruiting for you. But don't worry, we've all experienced that prospect who you follow throughout the whole process and it looks like he is going to Michigan, only for him to pick another school. I still think Josh Garnett will be suiting up for Michigan this fall, that's how sure I was that he was going to pick Michigan.
He's not going to ruin anything for me. I'm just excited because this news came out of nowhere and its better than some of the same old day-2-day things we talk about. Give us something to speculate about at least.
The same thing happened last year with Shaq Thompson, he wanted to visit for the OSU game and our staff told him no because they thought that he just wanted a free trip. I'd be surprised if Cravens actually takes a trip here and even if he does he's still a lock to USC.
Trust me, I wish Cravens was a realistic target but he's not.
The point moon was making is that attrition always happens. It's not a matter of Sabaning someone.
I thought they told him to visit on a non game weekend so they could see if the interest was real. I dont think they flat out said no.
This guy gets me. I still think he's better suited for UM than USC tho
You are correct, Shaq didn't want to come to a different game. Either way, my point is still the same, recruits take visits to other schools all the time for free trips, etc.
FWIW, he's supposed to play a S/LB hybrid at USC, I do think he can be a great safety but he also has a chance to outgrow the position. If he were to come here, I think he would be a S all the way.
