All I am working on a product for displaying UM scholarship offers. I am attaching the beginning product which only includes Player Profile (ESPN - Link where available), that he has an offer, and video (Link). I intend on adding pictures, the recruits average star ranking, his UM recruiter, his twitter handle if available so you can follow him, his offer/commit date where available, and I plan of changing pin colors to Green for an offer, Blue for a commit, and red for committed elsewhere (and what school he picked). I am open for any other suggestions. Anyhow by using this method you can see the schools the offers are going to as well as what states are hit, and hit hardest, as well as the product looking smoother and being more interactive. Here is the link Thanks!
Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps
This is pretty sweet. My suggestion is to keep it simple. I like your current ideas.
Looking at our offers on google maps makes me wish our coaches offered kids from other countries (not including Canada).
Edit: When complete, this should go in the OP of the 2014 recruiting thread.

Good idea Squid. I like it.
247 already stole it or had it
Wow that is cool too did not know they had this - where is it located besides the link?
Edit: Never mind I found it, never looked at their offer list section, as I belong to all three sites was always on top of offers. They did not steel it from me as i just made mine, and nor I from them as i was blissfully unaware until you pointed it out to me - just shows great minds think alike. Thanks for pointing this out. i really like the heat illustration on theirs, I will say theirs is severely out of date (or size limited) as we have twice as many offers as it shows.
