OSU AD Gene Smith has told ESPN he favors both teams in the same division. And apparently he has spoken to the Great Brandon about it and they are effectively on the same page.

Well, woohoo for that.
I had heard this a while back, and people were hesitant to believe it. They better get used to the idea of a re-alignment.
"Do you hear that, Mr. Anderson? It's the sound of inevitability."
Well this sucks and no i won't ever get use to it.
This is just my opinion but i think it is really dumb to put the 2 traditionally top programs in the same division. Especially when it's as clear as it is with Michigan and Ohio State.
Also, I personally think it really sucks to have a Big Ten championship game that could never matchup Michigan and Ohio State.
ummmmmm........the big ten championship is "the game" bro...win it and your in the playoff or in Pasadena
It doesn't make sense to play the game two weeks in a row. Also the other division would have Nebraska who is up there with Michigan and osu. They're like 4th in all time wins. If they decide to do inner-outer they would also have Penn State who is like 7th in all time wins.
Well in my opinion it makes more sense to play the game 2 weeks in a row than it does to have a conference championship game that could never be Michigan versus Ohio State.
They should just play earlier in the season like Texas and Oklahoma. Or put them in the same division. I don't like the idea of 2 weeks in a row.
