Sam likes to go a little crazy sometimes. I am thinking Hurst and Treadwell.
I like Sam and listen to the show regularly, but do agree with you here. He was confident in Levenberry and Isaac recently, and also never gave up the fight on Josh Garnett last year. So it sometimes seems like his Blue glasses cause some things to look better than they really might be.
On the saturday before Isaac committed he said it was 50-50. Sam Webb is the most connected person when it comes to recruiting info.
The only accounts of this I found were in Rivals and i understand it only mentions 3 WR and nothing more. Also the Mods deleted some of it. Lugar has a good point if some of this is speculation and not at all factual. You also can't ignore the fact that Rivals deleted it.

Sam has been right more often than not. And to his defense, NO ONE knew where Ty was leaning and everyone believed it was 50/50, but the day Ty committed, if you listened to to his round up that morning he was not as confident for us, even naming Wilkins and Green as options almost foreshadowing the news we got later.
I still believe we pull 1 or 2 surprise recruits for the 2013 class. I have been fairly impressed with the recruiting might of our coaches. The amount of buzz for the 2014 class has me convinced the 2014 class will be a top-3. I further believe the initial buzz for 2014 will translate into 1 or 2 surprise commits at the end of the 2013 class.

Eh...that is a matter of opinion. I think TomVH...but that is because I have followed him for years.
I completely agree, which is why I regularly listen to his show. Just saying that outside of his "gut feelings," sometimes he has been a little too optimistic for Michigan. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
I edited the original post from the hear-say of another post. There is no way to validate any of these alleged conversations took place, and the exact content of any such conversation(s), so just assume that they never happened. Nothing was a direct quote from an irrefutable eye witness source, just from some degenerate board poster like us. However, I think we should expect a WR to drop after the holiday/in early June.
It isn't a violation. The OP doesn't even use Allen's name.
It has since been edited, and Allen's name was removed.

Thanks. To be accurate you should probably remove the quote marks since its hearsay.
Uncle Newt, very perspicacious of you!
Wow, had to look that one up. Thanks for the new word.
You'll find my posts tend to be a bit dissociative.
Don't worry Urbs approves.
