Michigan has offered roughly 90 prospects in the 2014 class to our knowledge. Here's a look at how they have attacked each state. I included prospects that have committed elsewhere. Texas and Florida are tied for the most offered prospects in 2014 with seven. New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, and Georgia all have six offered prospects.
Maryland / D.C. – 5
New Jersey- 6
North Carolina- 4
South Carolina- 2

Nice breakdown, much appreciated. I think there should be a #5 next the DC/Maryland section though.
The Wolverines recruit so heavily outside of their region so I just wanted to give you guys a better look at the states Michigan is attacking the hardest on the recruiting trail.
If anyone with Land of Lincoln pride wanted to argue, they could say Denzel Ward was an Illinois offer and they tie Florida and Texas with 7 offers
Cool breakdown, Clint. Interesting to see, thanks.
I thought Joe Henderson didn't have an offer yet?

Dang Clint, how bored were you today that made you want to compile this list.
Haha I enjoy doing these kind of breakdowns. Didn't take too long. Joe Henderson told me he had an offer but it's been disputed elsewhere. I put him down as an offer for now. I also took Denzel Ward off the list since Michigan supposedly took his away.
Thanks for putting that together. The geographic range of offers is interesting and it it's good to see Michigan using its national brand name to pursue prospects all over the nation.
The most impressive takeaway from that list, for me, is the caliber of prospect Michigan is pursuing. There is hardly a sleeper/flier type of recruit on there. Michigan is pursuing elite high school football players and I hope they land more than their fair share.
And I predict :
New Jersey. 2/6

I'm gonna have a little fun trying to guess who you're predicting
Michigan (3/5): Harris, McDowell, Doles
Ohio (2/6): Ferns, Berger
Texas (1/7): Watkins? Adams? Dunno. My first instinct is Alaka, but I have you filling up on LB in OH. Don't really like our spot with any of the TX guys at the moment, tbh
Virginia (2/5): Hand, Speight
Florida (2/5): Cole, Holmes? Holmes vs. Scott the hardest guess on here thus far
Maryland (2/5): Mustipher and Vincent? Whoever you're going for here, I like the optimism.
New Jersey (2/6): Dickerson and Hilliman? NJ is weird this year, wouldn't be surprised if we took 4 of those 6, also wouldn't be surprised by 0.
Illinois (2/6): Westphal and Weishar?
Utah (1/2): Mone
QB - Speight
RB - Hilliman
WR - Harris
WR - Holmes
TE - Dickerson
TE - Weishar
OL - Doles
OL - Cole
OL - Mustipher
DL - McDowell
DL - Hand
DL - Mone
LB - Ferns
LB - Berger
DB - Watkins/Adams
DB - Vincent
DB - Westphal
am I close? Kinda surprised you have us taking Texas and Maryland guys but none of the CA ones.
I would trade the one from Texas to one from cal but another than that I like the list
That was good.
Texas I think we have a couple options that end up 1.
I think we have potential in Cal. But its tougher because we may fill up before they can take officials. Plus I live here and its tough to leave the "Hotel".
I also am keeping my hopes up that we can get Peppers away from Stanford.
