Milliner would be an awesome pick for the Lions. As long as they get a LB or CB.
Millner's a beast. That's what I took away from the Bama game. Not the DL or LBs, but the CBs were on another level in terms of size and physicality. When you have CBs like that, it makes your front seven look great because you can run tight man coverage against almost anyone.
Jarvis Jones will go much higher then 29th.
Kansas City will select a QB first....no chance they don't

The mock drafts won't really "zero in" on it until late February i.e. after the combine and when it's clear which underclassmen are declaring. At the moment you see quite a bit of variation and that's probably even worse this year given the lack of clearcut top prospects. I actually think there's a lot of depth in this draft, there's just no obvious franchise QBs in it.
His performance in the bowl game against SC could really help his stock though.
Terrible mock, imo.
5th OL, by still is the top-15 picks overall, so I'd assume he would still go if that's the case.
What QB is #1 material? Barkley? He'd be a weak #1. It's not a great year for QBs.
Or hurt it, unfortunately
I honestly think Tyler Wilson is the best QB in this draft.
Shhhhhhh!!!!! You're ruining everything.
Anybody that reaches for a QB in this draft should look at the New York Jets right now.
And this is the reason I'm thrilled my Skins went all in for RGIII and didn't wait on bringing in someone this year....
Kinda have to agree with this. However we are so far out that we don't know the true draft order yet and we don't know the full crop of players leaving for the draft so all mocks will be pretty useless.

I've seen a few other mocks that have Lewan going off the board as the second OL, only behind Joeckel. It's a really weak draft so it will be much harder to call than the typical drafts.
This is a really bad mock. There is no way a G is going top 10. Warmack has a chance to go top 15 at best. Cooper will probably be a late first/early second. Jake Matthew’s probably isn’t coming out. Lewan will be the second OT taken off the board, unless Eric Fisher has a crazy offseason and work’s out extremely well.

LB’s who can’t rush the passer are not worth top 15 pick’s IMO unless they are elite talents. The LB’s haven’t been that horrible this year any way’s. The only one who needs to be replaced is Levy. We can get an OLB in the third round.
Meh on Milliner. He played well against us obviously. But he struggled against A&M, and LSU. I would much rather have Mingo, or Werner.
If Bradley Roby comes out he’ll get drafted before Milliner IMO.
It doesn’t matter they will reach, they always do. A new GM/coach is going to want their QB.
Someone is going to be happy they waited though, next year. Teddy Bridgewater is going to be good.
The neck might be a problem though. Gronk fell to the second because of the same injury.
What position do we draft in the first round? What is our biggest weakness? Probably defensive secondary, or maybe OL i guess. If Monte Ball is there in the second round, I say take him for the 2nd round pick.
Who is we? The Lions?
I say our needs are CB, OLB, and OL in that order. I wouldn't take a RB. Leshoure and Bell are doing a fine job
Monte Ball is made or broken by his O-Line. Our O-Line would break him easily. No point in picking a RB really, priorities are secondary, O-Line and linebackers.
As much as Michigan may need Lewan next year to anchor the line, if the kid is guaranteed to be a top 15 pick, I would almost prefer that he declares. I would feel awful if he got hurt next year. He maybe could get insurance, but who knows. Still, if really treasures the college experience, maybe Lewan will come back for one more year. I'm just not counting on it.
Assuming you’re talking about the Lion’s I would say that the secondary is the biggest weakness.
Our biggest needs are probably at CB, S, DE, OL, and WR in that order.
Monte Ball would be a major reach in the second, and we don’t need him any way’s. We need a guy who had a similar skillset to Best. A RB who could run out of spread formation’s, and catch out the back field. Barner is the third or fourth would be a solid pick.
I could see us taking either a DE, or a CB in the first. I’m hoping for either Mingo or Werner. Lewan could be an option but It depends on what they see Reif as. If they see him as a RT or G, then Lewan is a option, if the see him as a LT then Lewan is not an option.
