I'm not a fan of rooting for in-conference teams unless 1) they're a team I don't mind/actually like (Northwestern), 2) they are a rival of a team I dislike (Michigan), 3) they're playing a team I hate more.
Man, the Big Ten really stinks this year.
Fully expect msu to win this game going away, but that 1st half has to disturb some people.
jfc sparty, get it together
I tried this, but they seem to have 15 different threads about this game, so I just left well enough alone.
Seriously. MSU has looked just god-awful. They're going to give the ball to Bell 50 times and still only end up with two TDs. If Eastern Michigan had an offense this would be coming down to the wire.
MSU is going to tack on a meaningless TD here and now their fans will act like this was some sort of great offensive effort.
"ZOMG LeVeon Bell is so awesome!"
Seriously, I'm not even worried about MSU at this point. We're going to stack the box with 8 and force Maxwell to beat us through the air - which he clearly can't do. He can't beat a decimated ND secondary, and he looked completely pedestrian against the Eastern Michigan secondary. The ND game proved that an entirely one-dimensional MSU team can't beat quality opponents.
Yep. I fully expect MSU to lose to Ohio next weekend.
I'm rooting for a meteor strike.
I live to close to EL for me to be rooting for that.
Fun Stat: EMU was giving up 40 pts a game and MSU got 23.
I think you know better than that. The game was abysmal and no one in green will argue that.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
If you look at the Big Ten this year, man Louisiana Tech destroyed Illinois, CMU beat Iowa. We lose to ND. OSU and MSU struggle past poor opposition. PSU beating Temple and Minny beating Syracuse doesn't really take the sting out of the conference performance.
On the one hand, we're basically in every Big Ten game with a shot to win, on the other hand the winner of the Big Ten might be ranked #21 and the talking heads discuss the death of the Big Ten all year.
Nailed it. The winner of this conference essentially gets a golden ticket to California to get their clock cleaned. Just can't defend the B1G this year.
I don't think anyone in the B10 feels good about their team this year nor should they. And like the guys above me said, the "winner" gets to play Oregon/USC oh boy that sounds like a fun time. I'd actually rather go to a so so bowl game and win than get wrecked in the Rose Bowl, but that's just my opinion.
Who is this? lol
Only watched a bit of the UM-ND game at the end...really stinks. -4 in turnover margin and still in it to the end. Wish you guys would have won.
but he calls them ohio
