I think Fleury will be fine in Pittsburgh, but he plays like shit on the road. Also Johnson is decent he got a pretty nice contract this year.
I'd bench MAF, he's playing like he did last year in the playoffs. They played terrible again though. Stupid penalties, too many TO's, no puck control.
Im really glad that I wasn't able to watch this game. I will be at game 5 though.
Was tough to watch. Vokoun better start next game. I'd put Bennett in over Cooke, I'm so sick of the dumb penalties he takes every game.
I cant believe I said Johnson wow too much to drink tonight.
Haha, I didn't even see that. That game really pissed me off
Didn't you say earlier in this thread that Ducks to not act like this is RCMB, that is what all your posts remind me of.
Keep fabricating and attacking the Red Wings fan in such a manner.
It is actually kind of odd.
What year were you born?
My pee wee major Belle Tire team was Disney status. Won 5 games all year, go to states in a division with honey baked, us, and compuware. We lost to compuware in ot in the first round robin game, honey baked beats compuware in ot, and we somehow beat honey baked in regulation in or second round robin game. (honey baked in my age group had never not won states or playoffs to this point and multiple parents on their team had already bought tickets to nationals in Colorado) in the semi's we beat my former team the ice dogs (now victory honda to my knowledge unless it changed again) in ot then got our butts kicked in by compuware in the finals. Still it was an amazing weekend after a tough season.
Rewatching the game on DVR right now
Are you kidding me? This is laughable.
In the 4 main sports over the past 20 years... Champions
Pistons: 1 (didn't need to look that up)
Lions: 0 (didn't even need to hesitate to look that one up)
Tigers: 0 (didn't need to look that one up either)
Or we can go by all time titles...
Lions: 4 (including pre super-bowl) Those stats were hard to find
So the Wings have the other 3 sports tied... and they haven't been around as long.
Yeah. This IS hockeytown.
Wow, I think I played with his younger brother.
And LOL at all the people who "played AAA" on this board. Laughable. Especially for a football board.
Detroit is actually a football town when you factor in both Michigan and MSU football...but everybody across the board loves the Wings...the football factions are somewhat split up, although both Sparty and Michigan fans probably cheer for the Lions. I think the Detroit metro area is more fervent to college football anyways.
AAA isn't like baseball where you're right below the bigs, it's just a step up from travel in puck, but you're right.
is the ice dogs team your talking about the Michigan Ice Dogs?i use to play against them all the time but i was not aware thats where Victory Honda came from...i thought Victory Honda had a team way back when Michigan was a team but you would know better than I would...Belle Tire was not expected to win when my bro played for Victory Honda either...Honeybaked had everybody at that time. there was like over 10 kids from that team that went on to get drafted or play D-1. hell Cam Fowler has already been playing for the Ducks for 2 years and he might be there best defenseman already lol
Norris Trophy Finalists
Kris Letang Pens
Ryan Suter Wild
P.K. Subban Canadiens
Congrats to all 3.
I'm sorry but saying hockey is loved better than baseball in this town is moronic. Majority of people that go to red wings games are teenage girls that couldn't even name you the original 6.
lol dude i dont think you know how good youth hockey in Michigan is and how big hockey is overall in Michigan...it is more of a religion than a sport in michigan.there is only 2 states you can say hockey is prolly the number 1 sport and that would be Michigan and Minnesota
You're right, I'm lying. This is actually me:
check me on youtube guy. "Eric Woodward hockey fights" from the past couple years i played juniors i only have 2 but theres ur proof im #4 in both videos
Edit:only have 2 on youtube...ive been in many more, just only got ahold of a couple tapes

Yeah, I know, but AAA is still quite an accomplishment.
I'm not saying you didn't play AAA. Just seems to be an abnormal amount of "AAA players" on here.
I guess since everyone else gave their story I will. I lived in Portland, Oregon most of life and there was one organization in the whole state.... Next closest was in Seattle, Washington 3 hours away. Lol but we would travel to Alaska, Vancouver B.C., Minny, Vegas every year, Cali, Arizona. It was really cool traveling everywhere we had to in order to play good comp. Are team was AA. I moved out here finally my senior year and it was too late and I ended up playing for the Troy Sting. They were AA and pretty good we went to nationals and placed like 5th hahaha. But I do have a ton of respect for the Belle tires, Victory H, Caesars, and Honeybaked. AAA hockey is insane out here.
Vokoun starting game 5, yesssss
