We shall see. I would not rule out AL and GA just yet ....
“Those who stay will be champions”

Meh, I think it's safe to rule out Bama considering that Derrick Henry is a huge Bama lean. That'd be 2 (3?) RBs Bama has in this class.
As for UGA, meh. They may try to get him but I don't think they'll be able to pull him away from the Hokester.
Interesting guess. Redd is the only one with a deadline as he only has a week to decide. According to the Orange County Register Kiffin has informed a former walk-on schlorship guy that he have to give up his scholly should Redd sign on. Nasty but not surprising.
If you are Indiana, Purdue, MSU, or Minn any 2* is "big news".
Actually ... I want to change my prediction. Helmholdt said the rumors are not about UM. Sad, I know, but over on MGoBlog someone mentioned it might be NW hearing from the NCAA that Kyle Prater is cleared to play without sitting out this year. So I want to go with that as one.
Helmholdt has already said that this is not Michigan related.
If that is the news ... Zzzzzzzzzzz

Redd will almost assuredly be bad news for PSU at this point. It's inevitable. So I don't think you have to worry about it relating to PSU.
So what's the news?
West Lafayette is finally getting a McDonalds.
We are college football
Alright, this is the most vague "hot tip" I've read yet. They said "possibly" there would be news, and they said "some Big Ten school". So, he's not even saying that there is for sure news, and then he's not even saying what schools it pertains to. Basically, SOME school MIGHT have something big happen tomorrow.
Not exactly climbing out on the longest limb with this prediction.
Looks like Prater being eligable to play this year is the first big news today.
Well bad news for Penn State. It's official, Redd to USC.
This was the "big" news for the B10? Seriously .... zzzz ....
I doubt this was the 2nd part of the news since it was suppose to be good for the 2 big ten schools.
The first news Hemholdt was talking about is Purdue picked up a 3* DB from Florida today. Said the 2nd piece of that won't happen today but expects it to happen later in the week.
I'm sorry but a 3 star commit isn't big news IMO.
a 3 star DB for Purdue is big news?

In that case, the other "big news" might be DE Cooper to MSU; he wants to commit Wed or Thurs.
When I think big news I think 4* or better, a flop, or a commit well ahead of the cycle. But whatever.
yeah i was figuring Helmholdt was referring to a kid committing to MSU sometime this week.
Cooper to MSU is big news?
If 5* Green commits to Michigan, what would he call that one?
